2 weeks post-op open right-sided inguinal hernia repair with mesh..Surgeon mentioned this potential complication twice at consultation...worried that it might be common...we shall see.
What is the procedure called so I can ask my surgeon about it. It's been 10 months of groin pain on the right side following inguinal hernia open mesh repair.
I’ve been dealing with severe groin pain right side only… about pain level 8-9. The doctors can’t seem to figure out root cause. Today my family physician requested MRI awaiting Medicaid approval.

@@iPsYcHeDeLiiCZ I’m scheduled for blood test and CT scan on July 21, pending these results will definitely determine what the next steps are. I was told my Parkinson’s disease is exasperating the pain in my groin.

@@KBradAdams They determined that i have IC, Interstitial Cystitis, known irritable bladder syndrome.

Is it a Spermatic cord denervation?
like a SCAB procedure?
I suffer from PVPS
Reversal didnt help that much. Seems more likely nervous damage.
I have heard that nerve ablations can lead to other sever neuropathic pains?
Im in Australia but will consider going to America if you can fix my PVPS.
