Смотришь и думаешь: зачем ремонтировать, если можно сделалать новую? А на самом деле, реставрируя старую мебель, заряжаешься идеями и энергией на создание новых вещей.
И это история. Сейчас столько инструментов в помощь мастерам, а в былые времена всё делали вручную.
Какой красивый рисунок дерева на ножках у тумбочки. Она же могла просто сгнить если бы не вы.

The different woods accept stain differently. Pine does not stain well, but porous wood like oak, walnut, and mahogany do, I think that is what you are seeing here.

Must be furniture grade plywood with a hardwood veneer. Regular construction plywood would never finish up that nicely. Great job!
