Reliability is the same. I have never heard of any problems with the turbochargers anyway with the 4.5 or 4.8 Porsche engines. The valvetrain is also the same. Just be aware, the only proper engine for the Porsche Cayenne is the Turbo. The V8 engines have all the same issues with the bore scoring. Find one that had oil replaced regularly and you are good to go.
On highway trips, I get 10,5 to 11,5 L/100km without problem, with speed limit of 120-130km/h. When constantly driving 145-150km/h I get 12,5 - 12,7 L/100km. With lead foot on the Autobahn, I could not get above 16.7 L.

When driven at highway speeds in the US, you CAN get 28MPG!

What do you think about the long term reliability? This car cost 60000$ in Cambodia, same year and spec. So I am contemplating it.
