Those papers are so pretty. Good choices. I like the addition of the shells around the outside. I would have had to paint the silver copper on Don’s. And maybe a little copper glitter too? Love both of them. You all are so cute together. ❤

My dad was stationed in Jacksonville and Sanford in the Navy. 1964
Then, went into the printing business in Palatka, Florida, 1977 .
We just went to Virginia for 3 years . But back now . I might have told ya before about moving back in an email.

Love yours Michelle. What if you spray the paper with the flat spray you do with your resin tumblers? May not loose color to the resin soaking in the paper
I was thinking the same... I spray my papers with mod podge spray & works really well to keep paper from darkening n resin... 🤔
I will be trying to spray it on the next paper video for sure to see if there is a difference

Even though yours turned dark, I'm partial to anything beach themed. And I'm not a big fan of copper. If it had been bronze or silver, I might would vote differently.
But you both did a great job.
I do like what someone else suggested. Doing a simple paper towel holder that just covers the the frame. Then use the cake pan to create themed and seasonal top pieces. Don could use a Dremel and cut out the slot to slide over the holder. Then you could just interchange the tops and not the entire holders. ❤

Ok, voting time. I loved Don's, looked very elegant with the base and marble paper. However, Michelle's was a beautiful idea (shame how the colour faded), especially with the shells around the outside. So my vote is for Michelle's. Love it! 🥰💙

I think they both turned out beautifully. I just can’t choose one over the other. I believe I saw on a different channel that you can spray your paper with a spray kamar varnish or spray clear acrylic coating/triple thick clear glaze.
Yes, next time I may try to seal my paper to see if it helps.
Do you have a video on using a Dremel on your jewelry pieces? Such as sanding off overfill and polishing?
