    My best friend bought a Telluride about a year ago and I had the pleasure of driving it cause we took a road trip from South Carolina to Port Canaveral, Fl to go on a Disney Cruise. She got the S version in all wheel drive. With the smart cruise control and lane keep keep assist it was like that car pretty much drove it’s self. It made the drive soooo easy I wasn’t even tired! I plan on purchasing one next year I love the interior updates. It truly is a great SUV.

    Sofyan's reviews are great. He really gets to know the vehicles. We bought our first Telluride (2020 model) before there was much out there for reviews and comments. I found a Redline review about the newly introduced 2020 Telluride model and that review was partially why we ordered one. We love our 2020 model so much we plan to order a 2023 soon. This time, we plan to go for one of the higher trim levels to get the front camera/parking sensor and surround view camera. We've lived with our 2020 model S now for 50k miles and it hasn't had one issue. Still looks almost new. No repairs. If I had one nit it would be the lack of a bench seat for any of the higher trim levels. I really think Kia could charge for a bench seat as an option on these (at the higher trim levels) and people would order them. Also, I'd really like to see a true tan leather interior as well. The current "tan or brown" interiors seem to be somewhat orange or red. This review, once again, covers a lot of new updated information for the 2023 model. Great job by Sofyan and Redline!

    Great review as always. Thank you! I was extremely interested in both this car and the Palisade (2022) because of the space and comfort and technology. But when I started working the numbers with my salesperson and saw them seriously undervalue my trade-in AND add 16% to the MSRP and state that it was not negotiable, I lost complete faith and my taste for Hyundai and Kia as a brand. Fortunately, our local Lexus dealer was not adding a charge to their MSRP, and- after negotiations- gave us a very fair price for our vehicle. We ended up getting an RX-450L for almost the same price as the Kia and Hyundai with their ridiculous mark-up. I do hope buyers revolt and go elsewhere to punish these rip-off dealerships. By the way, I also was looking at the Toyota Highlander, but that dealership was adding a flat $4995 "Market Adjustment' factor with no additional packs to try to justify that additional charge! I left there too.

    I have a couple of reasons I don't like the Kia telluride.
    1. There has been evidence that supports claims that they catch fire for the wiring harness connected to the tow hitch. Unless you want the possibility of your Kia telluride to go up in flames .
    2. A lot of Kia telluride owners complain about the headlights not bringing bright enough especially the factory LEDs. That's why my 2016 Nissan Sentra had the halogens replaced with aftermarket LED. Disclaimer.. make sure you check before doing this so it's not void your warranty.
    3. Yeah it has one of the best warranties out there. However pay attention to the word limited. What that means is that just because it's a bumper to bumper or powertrain warranty doesn't mean it covers everything only limited items. Unlike my Nissan brand which is unlimited.
    4. Lack of Anti-Theft technology. You can have the fanciest, flashiest, and high technology car you want. However it means nothing if it gets stolen. My 2016 Nissan Sentra came standard with intelligent key, immobilization system, locking steering wheel, and push button start. With the Kia telluride you only get push button on the higher trims.
    5. Kia is the child of Hyundai. Kia and Hyundai engines are known to have transmission problems within the first 50,000 miles.

I do think it's a bit crazy that we still can't have wireless Android Auto yet when GM has done it for years. I will also add that I got them to waive the markup fee I think because that was 1) a dealbreaker and 2) they had 0 Souls for sale and probably thought the GT Turbo would turnaround quickly.

      Well we changed our order that we placed in November 22, 2022, as there was no movement on it, so on March 3, 2023, we canceled the Telluride EX , changed to the SX Midnight Lake Blue with Navy/Gray interior , and as it turned out the car was built on April 14, 2023, and we took delivery of it yesterday, May 23, 2023. Beautiful ride. On the highway, based on the fuel economy calculator on the dash, we got between 28-29 mph. We only have 100 miles on it. So I hope this helps those who are considering a Telluride, and we have already had likes and questions about it when we pull into a store or mini market.
      Good luck to all. Everyone have a safe and fun Memorial Day Weekend, and stop for a minute or 2 to give thanks for all are military service personnel who have kept our country free , and the best place in the world to live. God bless the USA.

    We had a 2020 Telluride S AWD with Sangria paint. It was comfortable, a great road trip SUV and got a ton of attention. Loved it, absolutely LOVED IT - highly recommend if you can snag one of these! It was a flawless 3 1/2 years. Best car we’ve had thus far.
    Edit: …As long as you can avoid the ridiculous markups and long waits dealers are placing on these! I got ours BEFORE the supply shortages and markups pre-pandemic (right when the Telluride first came out). If there was a hybrid/PHEV version of the Telluride, I’d go get another. I’m considering a Sorento Hybrid next and then I’ll come back to the Telluride for the next-generation - surely there will be an electrified option by then (besides the EV9).

    I bought a 2022 EX several months ago. Almost 5k miles on it now. I have a love/hate relationship with it. Yes it’s a beautiful SUV with plenty of space. But I don’t like the way the engine feels. It’s very underpowered under 2500rpm. No torque at all. Also, lots of road noise, but I believe that has a lot to do with the factory installed Pirelli tires. Hoping it holds its value and stays reliable.

    • @logikgr
      @logikgr Год назад +3

      If you're that unhappy, I'd unload it right away; you would probably make like a bandit. This vehicle does feel very underpowered, as this probably needs at least 330-345 HP to not feel like a base Civic getting on the highway.

    • @chepinchan
      @chepinchan Год назад +3

      @@logikgr It’s got enough HP. It needs a lower end torque. What it needs is a turbo or Honda’s V-tech engine . It’s really underwhelming under 2700 RPM. It probably doesn’t help that it’s on a heavier side in class also.
      But on the brighter side, I can easily beat 24mpg Hwy. it’s more like 26-27.

    That’s interesting that the city MPG rating for same exact engine in nearly the same vehicle (‘23 Telluride vs ‘20-‘22 Tellurides when all are equipped with AWD) actually went *down* this year, from 19 to 18. My guess is because there have been so many people (myself and my ‘22 SX Prestige included) that definitely do NOT average 19 MPG in the city. The only way you’d do that is if you were driving for around 20 minutes and only on Major thoroughfares. But if we’re talking a 5 minute drive around your neighborhood, you’re usually getting around 12-15 MPG.
