Wow. This has 50 shades of Jodi Arias written all over it. Her behaviours, mannerisms, thought process.... so similar. Jason dodged a bullet for sure. Tragically, Alex did not. I don't believe she was in love with Jason or Alex, but they were both in love with her. She had a great guy (Jason) but cheated on him with Alex and John and couldn't accept that she'd lost Jason because of it. Great job covering this Mike. Cheers and best wishes from Canada.
Fellas, if a woman claims to have been assaulted and you personally have to tell police that she had consensual sex with her alleged assailant but just regretted it, maybe don't hang out with her alone. Ever.
@@chrislong8559yea or just don’t hang out with weirdo chicks that are not very attractive and are playing two men but in these days you never know how weird and what women’s intentions are. Theirs alot of men in trouble for not doing anything wrong but being horny and finding a chick to have sex with than they call the police when they regret it. A football player lost his whole career cause of the days leading up to the draft he had sex with some chick and she accused him of rape and than he did time and than it came out that she wanted it and just wanted the money he was about to get in the nfl but it backfired cause he didn’t sign any contract yet and it ruined his chances to get any contract and his life is changed forever and never made the nfl and he was gonna be one of the top draft picks in the whole draft
I must say azra is quite the actress. I have not watched the complete testimony yet and so far she comes off very weak and and pitiful. Jodi Arias did not have that ability like this girl does.
Man that face when they read the guilty verdict. That’s the face of a narcissist who thought that they were the smartest person in the room realizing that they are in fact not. You can actually see her entire thought process implode on itself.
Yup a brief Ego Death by truth. I’ve seen it in person it’s a sad and scary sight. Narcissistic mortification. Soon after the narcissism bounced back and refilled the void.
She's a dreadful combination of pretentious and patronizing. Like, she really thought she could just "haha I'm so random" her way through a homicide case.
So wait...she reported to the cops that she was sexually assaulted, then they found out it was all BS, and they just threw it out? That sort of claim can absolutely WRECK someone's life. She should've been put behind bars for that.
I've got my mum hooked on this channel. Everytime I go past her room I can hear Mikes voice, had to create her a youtube account after she asked me how much it costs to 'subscribe' to That Chapter haha
Every time someone makes a false accusation of sexual assault it steals away the voice from an actual victim. [edit] everyone replying to this comment sucks and I will be ignoring all of you. ✌
I get the whole "the real problem with false accusations is that they delegitimize the accusations of real victims" thing. It sounds really nice and it feels good to say it - like it makes you feel like a good person when the words come out of your mouth. But I'd say the much, much, much bigger problem with false accusations is that they endanger and victimize innocent people. It's almost like, even in a situation in which a man is victimized, we still have to think of the women somewhere who've been victimized even more by that man's victimization. When a man seems to have been victimized we have to go on a search for the women who are *really* the victims here. I almost expect to hear "the real problem with prostate cancer is that it robs women of their husbands and sons". Military graveyards should have a big sign out front saying "the real victims here are the women they left at home. Come light a candle in memory of their heroic sacrifice". Jesus.
@@Kitties_are_pretty Actually, Hilary Clinton said just that: 'Women have always been the primary victims of war. Women lose their husbands, their fathers, their sons in combat.' Because only women and minorities can use the victim card.
@@BarneyWobba Can you give me a source for the Hillary Clinton quote? I've heard people say she said it but then I looked and I couldn't find any evidence. It kind of sounds like something people made up to attack Hillary Clinton with.
Joshua Brooks I agree that this is a problem and have had to point that out to a few close friends myself. I also don’t think you can quantify any victimisation, social dysfunction etc as a ‘much much bigger problem’ than any other. They exist as their own seperate phenomenon. The bias and disbelief that victims experience is often more traumatising and isolating that the abuse itself. It is the most significant barrier to seeking both family/peer/therapeutic support and formal justice. Falsely accusing a person of being violent, abusive or a rapist is also terrible and has significant long term effects on a person’s psychology and life, even when the lie is revealed quickly. I don’t think people make this statement (cringe as it is) because they don’t comprehend the seriousness of a false accusation. I think it’s more likely that they are far more familiar with the shame wrapped up in abuse - everyone knows at least a few people who have been through it. Empathising with the falsely accused is less automatic, because false accusations aren’t unbelievably prevalent within all demographics in the same way as violent/sexual abuse.
that instagram statement she posted is shameful. she makes herself out to be the victim, pulls LGBTQ+ into the mix, and then literally says "I am a survivor." just awful stuff.
@@Shizlgizl sounds to me like you are the one focusing on skin color and the status of a cop when you think cops shouldn’t be questioned if they claim self defense when you just watched a video of someone lying about self defense. Even when there is video, cases of alleged murder should be fully examined in a fair court of law regardless of skin color or if a cop is involved.
Don Sipple has to be the kindest, sweetest man on the planet. I feel terrible for him that his is the door she happened to knock on, and involved him in this mess. He must have a lot of sadness and grief from all this. I do hope he's doing okay these days.

I respect Don, he reminds me of what a father and grandfather should be. I would love to sit and listen to him talk about his life, "Everyone makes mistakes if you haven't then you haven't done much".
@Anna Kate Cousin Are you talking about the trauma she experienced after she murdered Alex? Yes, that was so painful for her, I am sure. She felt each and every one of the 16 stab wounds she inflicted on him.
@@maryh99 I agree. And when he said everybody makes mistakes I cringed. Talk about making light of what she did, she stabbed someone 16 times, mutilated his penis and then carved boy in her arm....uh that's a little more than a mistake grandpa!

Daddy was very specific about the mutilation part. And if all else fails, carve a word into your arm. That'll definitely scare him away."
I just wanted to say Alex was a gentle dude who loved philosophy and is NOT a rapist. I personally dated John for a time and I know him quite well, he is also a good person. Jason is a veteran who loves music and smoking cigs outside Racy's. All 3 dudes were chill as heck. Ezra is an insane, manipulative person.
Shef damn, you certainly seem to care, enough to hurl some obscenities at a complete stranger. It’s called the comments section and this individual was commenting about how they feel perturbed by the killer and her demeanor. I’m genuinely curious as to what else you expected to find down in the comments.
Yeah, she's fake. Her boy gender is fake. Her name now is fake. Her boy hair is fake. Her sad face, her dry tears, her sad eyes, they're all fake. Even her emotion is fake.
The Opinionist High Quality Opinions ok another idiot making blanket statements. I sometimes talk in the present tense when I’m explaining true stories because I’m an engaging, good storyteller. Doesn’t mean I’m lying or making things up. You idiots are hilarious with the blanket statements , thinking you’re so smart
She was a dumbass. It is always the people with intelligence that's a tiny bit above average who think they're geniuses. Not sure you could even give her the slightly above average part. Bitch could barely read. Go watch her testimony in court. They have her read from her journal, and try to explain philosophical concepts. Painful.
It's like when you do something super offensive and instead of apologizing for said thing, you instead say "I am sorry if you were offended by what I said". Obviously not nearly as serious as this, but it happens all the time and pisses me off! I hate a fake insincere apology. I rather a person not give one.
Given her sexual identity issues, her humping anything with a pulse, and then being a fruit loop, she probably had a hatred for snausages. Particularly that one, it lured her away from her boyfriend and ruined that relationship. After all, she did kill it's owner, so she might have had a bit of an attitude. Also, Mike said she mutilated his genitals, that doesn't necessarily mean she dis'member'ed him.
Remember Lorena Bobbitt? (Absolutely not the same situation at all. Because Ezra was messed up.. but if a man was actually attacking me, sure. I'd cut his appendage off in a heart beat.
The way she was blushing and smiling when Jason came into the court is so telling. She’s like a 13 year old in arrested development. The murder of Alex was absolutely a deluded, psychotic plan to win Jason back.
@@MsLilpeach The first part of your post, about your son, doesn't seem to have much of a connection to the second half, or the topic at hand as a whole for that matter. If you deleted everything before "I really believe that Ezra-" your comment would make way more sense. Additionally, randomly talking crap about not just the father of your child but your child himself to random strangers on the internet for seemingly no reason is disgusting and reflects poorly upon you more than it does them. If your child really is like that it's the result of your failure to parent him properly. This post doesn't make them look bad, it makes you look bad. Ironically, it seems you are the one that can't admit that you've done wrong. A classic case of projection. Gina La Perugina NYC, because he was talking about HER. Her tears then were for herself. Her victim received none of her tears, however. She’s a real POS.
She was planning to kill him in his own home. She had the car running for a quick getaway. Jason interrupted. But crazy Ezra took him to an isolated area to ensure no interruption. Wow - 50 years might not be long enough.
Clearly a psychopathic liar from the beginning. She shouldn't have testified in her own defense; she makes a person feel dirty listening to her. Why let her make a statement to the family? She freaking lies constantly. So who would hear ``I'm sorry'' w/o wanting to vomit?
The worst part about her apology was how she turned it around about herself. She said that she “loved” him and that she also was also suffering his loss. She’s terrible.
She was so determined to get away with the murder at first, and even after getting caught in lies, immediately turned to a sympathy play. That's the moment the judge knew he had to put the monster away until age 70 when her ability and drive to murder would likely be zero
Jason is truly a stand up guy. He trusted his gut instincts and went to check on Alex. Alex... the guy who supposedly had slept with his girlfriend. Because obviously Jason was starting to figure out that Ezra was a bit more crazy than he once believed. I'm so sorry for both men, but especially Alex who lost his life over some psychotic woman. Both men sounded like nice guys. How does a psycho like Ezra end up meeting TWO nice guys at the same time, same small town when I've barely met any in all my years, in a large city?

Yes, this show is marvellous. I used to painfully watch my way through all of those ones where they take an hour to tell a 20 minute story. They reenact the whole thing with terrible B grade actors, and repeating the scenes over and over again - the whole show is like a trip to the dentist. Mike is a marvellous breath of fresh air. We get the whole story in about 20 minutes, along with a bit of his dry wit to brighten things up - these are very watchable.
Your the man Mike, my dad passed 7 weeks ago and once I showed him your channel he was hooked for the last year. Awesome, original and the best on YT. Miss you dad...
Lost my dad recently too. Out of nowhere; diagnosed with cancer and gone 17 days later (which was a bit of a blessing as at least he didn't have to suffer too long.) Anyway, just wanted so say that I'm sorry for your loss, friend. Take care.
Oh she absolutely was! Once all of that happened she should have called the thing off, but being that she didn't care about anything other than herself and getting Jason back she went through with it anyways. Bro you had NO CHANCE of getting away with this!!
I wondered that but then wondered if she told Jason because she new he would stop her or call the cops to check on her setting up more of a defence that she feared him
What pisses me off is that when she’s “apologising” for what happened she never says she’s sorry for killing him, just that she’s sorry for the loss. She still won’t admit to what she’s done. Such a manipulative piece of work. I hope even after 50 years she still doesn’t get parole 🤬
Well she says 'sorry' isn't the right word, then proceeds to say it about 13 times. I'm Not sorry there were no children produced from her misadventures.
What's pissing me off more is the contradictory nature of her claims. So, he tried to murder her, but it's a "great loss". That's like someone trying to rape you, you kill him in self-defense, yet it's a "great loss that a rapist was killed in the process of doing the crime". This just goes to show that she's making it up and fully knows he's innocent of what she's claiming him to have attempted to do to her. Also, you don't mutilate a penis in self-defense. The many stabbings I can somehow understand to occur in the process of panic and confusion, but the act afterwards to mutilate his penis.... Yeah, she's just reaching too far in her theatrical performance in the trial. She killed an innocent man, that's why "it's a great loss", because if she truly killed a murderer, or more precisely a guy attempting to murder her, then that's not such a "great loss".
@@yavorangelov1601 exactly!! Have you read her statement on insta? I just read it and it was infuriating. It sounded like some contrived wanna be poet, while also trying to deny any guilt in what she’s done. So, if she’s telling the truth (which I don’t believe) she “loved” her r*pist and attempted murderer and thinks it’s a “great loss” she absolutely reeks of BS. I’m honestly surprised she didn’t try to go with an insanity plea, since that’s what most would do in her situation. Guess she had to blame the victim in the process bc she thought self defense would give her a better chance.
I know that I'm speaking from the perspective of someone who knows the outcome, and so I can't possibly make any sweeping judgements as if I knew all along, or anything is 100% certain when it comes to feelings and such, but... @bmcgmusic aww thanks for the advice, best of intentions I'm sure. But proselytizing with the aim of saving anyone from reading will likely upset this thread's natives. Don't you love it how that confidence drains out of her face after the jury says guilty? You can see the facial changes in her expression from hope to despair!
I feel like when she was saying that she needed to get out of the car and needed to get away, its like she was stealing the victim Alex's perspective. She is batshit crazy...no tears while "crying" her apology. And lastly, falsifying sexual assault is damaging for real victims that are afraid to come forward bc they may not be believed.
Falsely accusing someone of rape is such an insanely egregious act, I have no idea how this isn’t worthy of prison time. She tried framing that guy cause her cheating and lies ruined her relationship. And her boyfriend still believed her, vouching for her to the cop that showed up, it’s infuriating. I feel like falsely accusing someone of a violent crime like rape is one of the most sexist misandrist things someone could do. Edit: and she even mutilated his penis.
I'm pretty sure my bestfriend doesn't believe me, which is why it took me 5 years to come forward in the first place. I'm devastated and still not sure if I should try to talk about it again. If it happened again, I don't think I'd tell anyone.
claudia Lynne So the only thing you have to say about false rape accusations is that it is "damaging for real victims that are afraid to come forward"? That's the real problem? The problem isn't that it's an attempt to falsely imprison a man for years and label him a rapist for something he didn't do? I'll never understand this crazy level of self-centeredness from women on this issue. It's like a person isn't even worthy of moral consideration if they happen to have a penis. It would be like if a cop shot an innocent black guy, and then everybody goes "and the real problem here is this will make police officers think twice about shooting black people, even if they deserve to be shot. That's the real tragedy here." It's like, dude, the innocent black dude got shot and all you can think about is the poor police officers out there. If somebody actually reacted that way I'd suspect that that person maybe didn't like black people, and didn't value their safety and well being.
>ts like she was stealing the victim Alex's perspective Excellent point! She seems like an empty person who needs to fill up those vacant emotion slots with something she has read, seen or imagined.

Mr. Don was so kind and really cared for her enough to treat her like a daughter…..and sent her a letter….and even continued to defend her character even after what happened. Bless his heart….she used him and tore his emotions up for no reason.
idk if she can actually feel any remorse, but i guess maybe she doesn't feel guilty for taking his life but could feel some sympathy for the family having lost someone?
When Jason walked in court, the giddy excitement on her face was as if she thought she had won, she got him to "come back" and be in the same room. Probably still thinking her plan was working and she was going to get away with it and get him back like some terrible teen drama show. Possibly the only genuine emotion she showed in court though.
Reminds me of Jodi Arias - thought she could manipulate everyone via their looks and revels in any attention, even if it means being charged with murder. Fortunately their narcissism means they over estimate their abilities to tell a believable story and manipulate others. I’m glad she was caught as she has no soul and I have no problem seeing her capable of becoming a serial killer.

so she cheated on her boyfriend, regretted it, and killed the guy she cheated with.. wow, also, why would she willingly meet up with her abuser? makes no sence
We can only guess but probably she wanted to have earlier evidence that he was violent so when she kills him she would say he wanted to do it again so she had to defend herself..
The way she gushed over Jason walking into the courtroom while she was on trial for murdering was incredibly creepy! I thought the judge was going to sympathize with her fake apology for a second but he was like “nahhhh I’m not one of your fans, sorry 50 to life!”

Awww, I love that!
Women lose their husbands, their fathers, their sons in combat.'

I agree that this is a problem and have had to point that out to a few close friends myself.
I was thinking that smh

This is one of the most fitting sentences I’ve heard in a long time. 50 years and she deserves every single second of them.

Well she says 'sorry' isn't the right word, then proceeds to say it about 13 times. I'm Not sorry there were no children produced from her misadventures.
If it had been self defense, that would've been fine

Addressing the victim's parents, she says, "I knew sorry wouldn't cut it." Damn what a bad choice of words. 🗡

Nah that was 100% intentional. She’s a narc or some other Cluster B, maybe ASPD. They love to torment people, psychically and psychologically.
Can we talk about how Jason was RIGHT! He literally told the cop she had fight in her eyes
She probably planned to kill him in his house and was moments from following through with the act when Jason interrupted, those eyes screamed adrenaline. so she had to take him away from the public eye. cold blooded.
The rarity of someone recognizing and acting on their gut instinct these days cannot be overstated.

If somebody actually reacted that way I'd suspect that that person maybe didn't like black people, and didn't value their safety and well being.
>ts like she was stealing the victim Alex's perspective
Excellent point! She seems like an empty person who needs to fill up those vacant emotion slots with something she has read, seen or imagined.
And how did she knee him in the groin if they were sitting in the back of a car? Quite the contortionist?

My thoughts exactly!
Right?! She was trying so hard to hold back her smile as he approached! Gross
*It was genuinely horrifying!* 😳
Reminds me of Jodi Arias - thought she could manipulate everyone via their looks and revels in any attention, even if it means being charged with murder. Fortunately their narcissism means they over estimate their abilities to tell a believable story and manipulate others. Abuse can be complicated and meeting with an abuser isn't impossible, but yea in this case she's obviously an awful murderer.
