A Trotsky tree should be the rapid expansion tree. He would probably invade Germany around 39-40 and even attack Japan earlier. I would also like to see his tree involve supporting and starting communist uprisings in major countries like Spain, France, Italy, England, Scandinavia and China.

The crane on the left implies a naval yard, as if the destroyers were docked in a friendly port (as also evidenced by the Mosque) and the airplanes are foreign attackers, but the sailors are in little motor boats and that would seem to be a very bad way to get back to your own ships in an emergency.

I think it's to do with economic motivation. I bet someone at Paradox is thinking that Italy and Soviet trees should be base game, so included in a future update. Meanwhile these trees keep coming out with DLCs.
That won’t be hard, I used 40 width pure camel divisions as turkey and I easily took all of Africa for the axis, Italy lost North Africa completely, the speed of them easily encircles everything cause of how slow the infantry and tanks are
Question for ISorrow: Do you normally play with Historical Focuses on or off? I ask mostly because I would love to see a game where the AI tries to use the Balkan federation against you.
I usually run HOI4 with the "Europe only" performance mod. Removes the whole southern hemisphere from the game, makes it run a lot better and very playable until the end. Also it remains kind of balanced. South America never really mattered. China cancels out Japan, India cancels out Australia.
Can we just admit that there's no "return to hoi4" or "being done with hoi4" and that this is basically just a variety channel that does hoi4? Also with hoi youtubers, you need to basically skip 1/3rd of the way in to get to the content
The Fallout mod Old World Blues just got an update that added Texas. A few new nations including the Texas Brotherhood. You can declare war on roler skating assassins.
Play turkey next. Theres a bug currently where when you retire Atatürk he stays in power but still gives an extra half of his bonuses for being "Retired" its great.

Look at Romania and Yugoslavia. They were re-updated, with Yugoslavia being able to balkanize itself, and Romania being the first nation in game to switch sides.
With Greece you can form the Macedonian Empire which is the hardest of all , you can go for Byzantium , you can go for the "Megali Idea" and form Hellas claiming the coasts of anatolia or just defend against the Axis annex Bulgaria and ask Britain for Cyprus.

Probably because they’re currently working on USSR focus tree and decided to freelance a smaller dlc in the meanwhile so players have something new.
