- In this video we’ll learn how to use the three descriptive verbs 아쉽다, 아깝다, and 안타깝다. We’ll learn how they’re different, but also how they can be similar. And we’ll learn about using 안타깝게도 (“unfortunately”), as well as the slang expression (아)까비.

I heard Wonwoo saying 아깝다 in GoSe bowling part 2, I think he was commenting on how someone was so close to getting a strike, but they didn't get it
I'm really glad this video came out cause when I read that chapter in Common mistakes I felt unsure if I really understood it so I just avoided it completely haha
Here's an example from Korean Zombie's recent IG post after losing his title fight: 아쉽거나 후회되거나 그래야하는데 그런 게 전혀 없습니다.
Finding examples "in the wild" always helps reinforce the meaning of words and grammar forms for me.
There is also the word "아쉽게도"..I usually understand whenever it is used but I'm honestly not sure where exactly it would be used and which context fits it
That's this same verb just used as an adverb.

나: 이제 옷이 다 젖었네~~ 핸드폰 어디 갔지? 아휴 호수에 잊어버렸나 봐. 아쉬워

Maybe I'm wrong but I think I've heard 까비 used when friends are playing a game and someone just barely misses a shot/loses, like they were *so close* and then their friends are teasing them
