Very important to know the intervals, I believe... Best is to build them yourself...
Another great video! Very helpful and important!
Thank you! :)
Great answer to the question, and very good information!
Thank you! :)
Great info and explanation. I love to apply to my students the Flesch one. You just dominate the shiftings and the fingerboard in general when done correctly!
Absolutely! Thanks Ilia!
Wow Wonderful! You are a great musician! 👍
Thank you so much 😀
Thank you for the explanation of the reason for arpeggios.
Glad it was helpful! =) Thank you for watching!
Chords could be a great support
Thank you Inna for your excellent and helpful video. In which Carl Flesh book (even the page), the excerpt you show at 1:07 can be found ?
This sequence is used in many scale books. Carl Flesch has it in every key and I'm demonstrating a simplified one-octave version. In the Flesch 'Scale System' book, the one-octave arpeggios are practiced all on a single string, and otherwise are in three-octave scales - this is for more advanced players. A more simplified one or two-octave version can be found in Barbara Barber's book called 'Scales for Young Violinists' (or violists - there is a viola version of the same book). That's one of the best scale books for intermediate levels.
Thank you Inna for your precious advice.
Am planning violin grade 1 exam for a fresher. Where do I begin from?
Yes, arpeggios are very important and I hate them LOL
Love-hate relationship😅
it didn't help😢 so rapid & Im a confused beginner 😢
This video is not meant for beginners :/
Thank you very much! The scale books should have the script of your video really.
That is so kind of you to say! Glad it was helpful
