Question...... Why are you not using the Flux before reflowing /heating up the CPU? I was thinking :.... The Flux takes away some oxidation and it flows by itself nicely under the Cpu while heating /reflowing. Due the heating ... The Flux will find its way under the CPU. Whats the use of spraying Flux when my CPU does not get very hot anymore,... cause I also did mount a bigger heatsink with Fan on top, to keep the temperature as low as possible when switching my TV on..... 😉 👍 I did a reflow without using Flux and my TV is working well at the moment. Should I still spray some Flux before I close the back cover??? (is Flux also protecting the Cpu and preventing against oxidation, nomather if the TV is on or of??)) ✌️
Yes, I agree. I also think they did a poor job washing the boards after they set the BGAs. So there's remnants of flux that cause these issues to develop over time.
Yes, my name is Larry Spencer, and I work criminal investigations into fraud and misuse for the USPS Postal Inspection Team, and we'd like to know a little bit more about your makeshift heat barrier, or cardboard tent that seems to be made entirely out of priority mail flat rate shipping boxes. Problem is from heating and cooling and over time there are mico-cracks in the solder. The heatsinks were poorly engineered.

damm , i dropped my tv vizo with the same problem.
These companies still continue to have these chips soldered to the board directly. They always fail . Xbox ,ps4 u name it they all need resolder
Yes, I agree. I also think they did a poor job washing the boards after they set the BGAs. So there's remnants of flux that cause these issues to develop over time.
Main thing is just clean them
Isn't it just better/cheaper to just buy a new board and install it?
These boards are in high demand and very very short in supply.
Misuse of just one of those boxes carries up to a 5 year sentence. It looks like you've got several dozen of them under siege. This video evidence, coupled with your flagrant misuse of the word "action" (.I.E...it's time for some heat gun action), has really caught our attention. Just Kidding, I'm not Larry an investigator, but I did get you pretty good!!!!
Do you repair TVs for people?
Yes, we do!
If I ship my TV to you, do you think you can do that for me and I’ll pay you?
Yes, we have a shop located in Casselberry, FL. We offer these repair services.
Piss on vizio 18 month old tv and the back lights go out. Vizio says oh well. Their product is just as crappy as they are. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
The speakers on my M43-C1 keep popping intermittently. Should I replace the speakers? Or the main board?
