I got a p75-c1 with the same issue first time I took the heatsink off and baked for 10 mins at 300 worked for a couple days then stopped again. 2nd time I used this method heat gun 400 for about 3 mins it worked for a day then stopped working. 3rd time I took the heatsink off and installed a copper shim between the die and heatsink I reassembled the heatsink and baked in oven this time at 325 for 10 mins including warmup time and started the 10 mins when it came to temp it's been working for 10 days I would also note I cut the back of the tv where the board is and installed a computer 120mm fan blowing right on the heatsink and so far so good I will update on how long it will last.
Hey boss,I have a Sony tv that stopped working,it turns on than shows the picture than turns off,I’m by Chicago to,and was wondering if I could bring it to you for repair? I’m just about to have a second baby and don’t have money for a new tv! So was hoping that maybes there’s a chance for it to get fixed? I would appreciate any help
Hello, Sir, I'm getting a big doubt about LCD/LED TV's COF IC. I'm not getting any idea about this, we know all signals coming from the T-CON board to the LCD panel with the help of the COF bonding method and its signal testing points(XAO, OE, STV etc.) are also given in Gate COF. So, my question is why need this COF, why FFC/FPC are not used and what is the role of this IC? This IC's data is hidden or this is not an IC. I request you please clarify the truth about this COF IC, I will expect a detailed video about this COF IC on your RUclips channel.
I have a Vizio E55-DO TV the backlight comes on dim about 3 seconds later shuts off 3 seconds comes on bright 3seconds back to dim then off and repeats any ideas
Nice fix, yeah sometimes it's better to just give a low to high estimated cost, some people think your crystal ball works all the time.😂 They just don't understand how electronic devices work or what a circuit board looks like.
Man I wish I could’ve sent you my TV got a 70 inch Vizio white light comes on the off. Once tv is unplug for about 10 minutes white light comes on tv turn on for about 3 minutes works then turns off won’t turn on. I have to unplug it for it show something no one island repairs tvs. Also after you plug in the tv it won’t turn on no white light at all
@@bigdog8882 Ty BD. I will. You do great work for a great price for your community . I pay attention. Lol. I can tell you help out more than a few . (Which is what i do on the side. No techs close here in the stix of eastern Ky ).
@@bigdog8882 It sets in the window with the (Tenn ) sun hitting the back of it all evening for a few yrs . Added heat Im sure hasn’t been good on it. Which is why I was thinking a reflow considering this models history. Been subbed a while. But been watching your vids a looong time man. You and the Indian guy that’s a tech on TVs & phns (or anything with silicone boards lol )are the GOAT on this stuff that I’ve seen. Lol. I’ve learned a lot from you both. The tv hasn’t completely died yet ,so that’s why I havnt tore into it yet. Lol. It’s my moms. It can as much as 5 mins to come on some times.
This repair shows the importance of doing a thorough visual inspection for obvious signs of damage or weak solder points.
Nice!
Exactly!!!
Your charges are very reasonable. Beautiful bench and test equipment. Happy to see you're successful and we appreciate the repair tips.
9-3-2023: Same model Vizio, same exact problem. Thank you.

What about a white screen. Faint lines in it, but nothing works. I have this same exact tv. It was working fine, then went to white screen.
