  • Southern Baptist Convention and Women Pastors Ban: Do I Believe That Women Should Be Pastors?
    Summary
The conversation discusses the Southern Baptist Convention's rejection of a formal ban on women pastors. I share my opinion on the matter and whether or not I agree with women pastors. Are we as women called to be pastors, or do we have a separate role? We need to read scripture in context and submit to God's will. I also discuss the balance between using our voice and practicing self-control, as well as the value of prayer and the power of a gentle and quiet spirit.

Hi friends! I know this is a heavily-debated topic in the church. Do you believe women can pastor? To what involvement do you think they can have in the church? Let me know your thoughts below!

What are you talking about ? This is not heavily debated topic at all. The Bible is clear, there is nothing to debate. False "liberal" churches can do whatever they want, they are not christian really

Hello Brittany, you are a breath of fresh air and I have been waiting for a woman of God like you to share an opinion on this "heavily-debated" topic as such in the church. After watching the video you have gained a new sub / friend, that will be supporting you in any way possible. I truly appreciate you taking the time in discussing some valuable information on scripture, roles, and balance with topic that will not go to waste. I will definitely share this video with "some" of my sisters in Christ that have or who are wavering in their faith, with all of the insane messaging from (fake news media, feminists, and neighbors with no commonsense) that are starting to infiltrate their relationships in the home.
In regard to your first question.....Absolutely not, which you have already made really clear!
Second question, the roles women play in church make a tremendous impact! Women at the church I attend, are the nurtures in day care for the children. They are the administrators in the office section of the church handling important documents to make sure the entire church functions in a manner for its members and visitors to worship. They are the majority of the choir singers that have some the most beautiful voices I enjoy listening to when worshiping God. And they are some of the most gracious kind of people that God delights in especially in their integral role of His overarching plan for humanity.
I can go on and on, but you young lady have struck a nerve and I appreciate you.
Well done and God bless you !

Since a woman could be a pastor in the Old Covenant, a woman
can be a pastor in the New Covenant. Simple really.
I suggest my short and free essay on Deborah. Men and women are perfectly equal spiritually. She was a pastor, according to the scriptures. This is how the Judges are described in Chronicles, by God.
In all places where I have walked with all Israel, have I spoken a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people, saying, ‘Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?’
-excerpt 1 Chronicles 17 verse 6 NASB translation

For women, it causes us to die to self for sure. But isn’t that the whole point of following Christ?
We all have to die to self with many things, and that’s just one of the ways in regards to this specific topic!

-excerpt 1 Chronicles 17 verse 6 NASB translation
A woman could only be given the authority by God to execute a man for his sin, if women are spiritually equal to men. A Judge could judge homicide cases according to Deuteronomy. Therefore Deborah, as a Judge, could execute a man for his sin. A Judge's verdict could not be altered or appealed.
A Judge was cleared to teach from scripture as he/she gave a verdict, according to Deuteronomy. Since in Judges 4, men went to Deborah to be judged, a woman could teach men, even in the Old Covenant in a public setting.
A Judge was REQUIRED in scripture to judge only the hardest of cases.
Refusal to accept a Judge's verdict on any matter,
resulted in execution, according to Deuteronomy.
If your beliefs can't explain all this, they must be false.

First of all your title question isn’t correct. What it should say is, “what does the Bible say about women pastors?”
What you believe is rhetorical next to the Word of God.

Yeah God will use any vessel that’s holy and set apart. There’s no male or female in Christ, we are also told that God doesn’t look on outward appearance but judges by the heart, the Spirit. That’s what counts. Since we are also told to be followers of God then we ought to do the same, and not judge outward appearance and say oh that’s a woman so she can’t be a pastor or leader in preaching the gospel. When we see that God had no problem in scripture with a woman being in charge who was righteous. Yet that is ignored by many and they take two verses from Paul and claim women can’t preach. It’s ridiculous. Luckily there’s some Christians who have the Spirit and know the truth and won’t be brought into that doctrine of bondage
