This is such a realistic message. I needed this today. I am in the waiting and it is relentless, it is hard, and I am waiting messy. When you mentioned that the fruit is patience I had a revelation that I AM waiting and that is from God, not me, and that really encouraged me. I am waiting becuase God is here not because something is wrong or something is wrong with me or I am not in His will.
God's seeming inactivity is not inability. He is teaching me many things. Right now, I'm learning to follow, not try to figure it out and make plans to fix it.

I agree about how I talk about God and about myself. And yes, it does not mean not being real or truthful about my emotions. God IS a lovingy Father, nothing happens to harm and hurt you. When I give Him time, I wìll see how He worked it out for my good. He always does and He always will. Or otherwise, I have not yet looked closely enough, or, I haven't yet asked Him to show me how He's working it out for my favor and good .

Praying the Lord provides in your waiting. I just turned 40, also single and waiting. The waiting isn’t easy and I struggle in this season, but I trust and know God is faithful. ❤
My only Christian advice to any other Christian that is suffering or in pain when they don’t feel like they are deserving of it or that they’re aren’t strong enough to carry it is: take heart and hold on. It’s easy to say to someone that is suffering or in pain: don’t worry, God will eventually redeem, heal and restore what you have suffered or lost. But personally speaking: that doesn’t make me feel any better. Not only do I not want to hear that, but my heart literally doesn’t have the capacity to hear it. I can’t even digest that advice.
