I also think the winter time looks better than summer! Very dramatic and and a beautiful view of a stormy sea! Let's you know you are alive! Thanks so much and I'm sure you enjoyed a hot cup of tea after that adventure!
@@CornishWalkingTrails I love that cafe, lots of delicious home made goodies. Tried the mother in law's chocolate courgette cake when we were there 2 years ago. Awesome! and boy, were we ready for it!
I enjoy your videos. I am in Long Beach California USA and would love to hike around Cornwall some summer, thanks to seeing your adventures. You seem like good people too. Keep up the good work!
Having had a spell of 16 years living in Cornwall, it will always be my 'spiritual home'. Just spending time marvelling at the dramatic scenes, finding one amazing view after another and feeling like it's all yours to enjoy whenever you want...fantastic! The sounds of those winds and waves bring it alll back.
We are indeed very privileged, and humbly aware, that to be able to come home from work and nip to the beach with the dog is a wonderful thing! Sarah :)
Sarah and Andrew, that was Brilliant!! Thank you so much for taking us with you on that memorable walk. Nanjizal is a lovely spot. PS: I like the sea in winter. The action, the excitement, everything is alive. Creation showing its most dramatic beauty. Thank you xx
Gorgeous video...! And... I definitely think that winter windy & rainy walks leave a stronger mark than summer ones. If we go to consider this, I believe also that morning walks are better than afternoon ones. Especially when you can meet sunrise 🌅
I am so glad you enjoyed it. We love to share a storm video. We often wonder if a visitor, having seen it in the summer, is interested in what it looks like in a good storm! Sarah :)
Of all the walks we`ve done on the Cornwall coast path, that`s my favourite. Thank you for a wonderful video - hugely enjoyable. (The walk the other way from Porthgwarra is terrific as well.)
many years ago we went to Lands End was nice to see it again in your video seems very windy there the Lands End cat how nice and a cool waterfall too you guys are brave out in that weather *😀🔍supporting✅ full view🔎🎭✅ left a like 👍🇦🇺👍😀*
I like summer and winter - both are great with their different colours and I love the sound of troubled water and wind. But I was a little afraid for you both ! Thank you for these fantastic views. 💟💟💟
That looked exhilarating and the sea dramatic. The path at 7:00 appeared rather close to the edge! We would have been rather wary of walking it in those blustery conditions - well done for braving it! A walk like this awakens all the senses.
We felt that we had got to the point of no return when Nanjizal was in sight. We popped the cameras away and made it safely! Another storm brewing tomorrow! Sarah :)
In bed all cosy watching you both brave the winter weather, I am jealous of how fit you both look from your walk, my sitting down job doesn't allow for such beautiful although blustery walks...keep up the great videos, really enjoy watching you guys xxx
I am familiar with the sitting down job role! It makes me more determined to get out, as I worry about the long term affects, you hear so many bad things about sitting down all day! Sarah :)
A little secret - I often think plain blue skies in videos are challenge to continue to make them look interesting. A dark, cloudy sky can look so ominous, dramatic, Sarah :)
How exciting Sarah and Andrew !! The cat seemed to be doing a bit of storm watching also lol, how adorable 🤗 It truly was magnificent to see even on screen, thank you so much!! Sending much happiness your way , Lori
Land's End is a very special and spectacular place, and never more so than on a day like that - I loved the view of Enys Dodnan in all that white foamy sea. Definitely the best time to go there!
My wife and I stayed at St Ives last September for four nights. We visited Land's End and the surrounding area. We've booked for fourteen nights this summer, love Cornwall and we enjoy watching your videos too.
Awesome video, thanks for posting these walks, really enjoy them. The coastline around Lands End is great for walking, we aim to be Cornish residents by the end of 2020 so can do these walks on a regular basis not just when on holiday.
I watched this yesterday but found it difficult to comment....however we really enjoyed this blustery day at Lands End....White sea horses in abundance and that gorgeous Lands end cat purr fect!!........Nice to watch from my arm chair but you did look so cold. Well done wonderful sceanary as usual.
We have done this walk from Sennen Cove and back over the fields, its a bit narrow on the S.W.C.P. just before Nanjizal, so much so my wife was hanging on to the strap on my backpack and said afterwards, " if i fall over the edge, so do you". Another glimpse of what i can enjoy in March. We dont like the crowds that Cornwall can attract in the high season, much prefer to stop and take it all in with just the wind for company.Well done on walking in that wind by the way.
Love it - I am with your wife on that one! Our cameras went away at that point so that we could concentrate on staying safe! We are looking to do more secret coves and beaches this summer which may suit you well if you are not keen on crowds. Sarah :)
Stumbled across your channel planning our summer hiking trips😁, Nanjizal looks amazing! Hopefully we can still get to the UK this year🤞🏼. Great video of the Bay and nice channel as well👍🏻!
Just subscribed with your channel. last year was the last time I visited Cornwall after 8 years constant. I'm a Port Gaverne fanatic. Keep up these interesting tours. Very enlightening and fun
This is really amazing footage from the winterly stormy coast! And so very different from the summer. I must say I myself prefer the summer, as I am walking along the path 12-20 km a day during my vacations. The smells, insects, colours and foliage are a thrill and the temperatures are very agreeable. But I am very grateful to be able to watch this video and the wild winter views without freezing :-) If I had been living in Cornwall I would definitely have done some winter walking as well :-) Thank you for sharing this. Torunn :-)
Bless that cat's heart! We always seem to find a friendly cat too when we go travelling! Bit of a chilly one that day for sure and my sounds gone again, so couldn't hear the waves crashing! x J
I must have missed this video a year ago. Fantastic sea . I have a black and white photo of me in front of the first and last house taken in the 1960's, before I think any if the attractions were ever built. One if the best spots in England.
Thought you were going to get blown off Lands End, looked pretty rough down there and not a place for an OPPS moment! Yep, a lot different from your last visit in the summer, I think I would have preferred the summer lol. Cheers Alan
That wind was howling. Do they put up a Land End 2020 sign up after the New Year? That cat was the ambassador for Lands End. Glad those bluffs don have rabbis with all that frothing. LOL. One question though, couldn't lands end also be lands start???????
A good question! and one we often wonder about. I guess the person that named it came from the land side and not the sea side?!? Maybe? And does every country have a land's end? Another poser! Sarah :)
It's had a lot of bad reviews on trip advisor. =\ Do you still have to pay for a pic at the sign? I would go again if it wasn't such a tourist trap. You did well braving the wind though ☺️
Totally understand where you are coming from and it is unfortunate that it has been overdeveloped as a tourist attraction. But they cannot deny you access to the coast path so at least entry to the site is free, although parking is not! The booth for the Land's End sign was not manned on our visit but if you want the distance to your home town and the date, then they charge - I didn't look how much! I wouldn't pay for it myself, Sarah :)
I also think the winter time looks better than summer! Very dramatic and and a beautiful view of a stormy sea! Let's you know you are alive! Thanks so much and I'm sure you enjoyed a hot cup of tea after that adventure!
A bowl of warm soup and a coffee at the cafe in Trevescan nearby! Sarah :)

Totally! A stormy day is an assault on the senses! Sarah :)
Enjoyable to watch from my armchair, but give me the warm weather anytime :) Thanks for another great video!
A couple more months and the warmer weather will be here again! I enjoy a good storm too! Sarah :)

I totally agree! Sarah :)
Lovely walk and I'm my humble opinion a hundred times better than in the summer, but that could just be me!

A different take on the scenery. I think most people will visit in the summer when is it calm, blue and sunny! Sarah :)
