Great video, i regularly snorkel out in the purbecks, ive gone out past the bay at lulworth cove (not sure if your aware of it) trying to get to some caves along the cliffside, it was the same conditions as this video, i had to turn back, its thats fear of getting smashed into a rock, or out to sea when your going solo, better safe than sorry always, keep sharing the good vibes!
Sometime you just don’t know how tough it is until you get out there 😆
Great video. Glad you decided to turn back as those waves looked very nasty. Maybe a revisit in the summer when conditions are calmer.

It’s an amazing cove isn’t it. I’m determined to swim through but I think the conditions will have to be completed dead calm.

Fair play mate, that looks proper narly. Never snorkelled before so wouldn’t know what it’s like with fins. When surfing I always think if In doubt, don’t go out. Save yourself to play another day. Love the sarny idea after tho! All the best. 🤙
Thanks mate yes I had a slight bit of doubt when I swam out there. I definitely wouldn’t have done it with a surfboard or without my fins on

You definitely need to go back and snorkel when it’s calmer. Beautiful place and the bacon roll looked amazing, my mouth was watering 🥓 🥖

That was a very well deserved bacon bap after such bravery. Waves scare the life out of me even though I’m a strong swimmer. I guess you know how to control them if you surf etc. I guess we get to see more of you in the sea when it’s calmer maybe summer months?
Yes I tend to make more water based videos in the summer but I still try to get in all year round. I like to think I know my limits when it comes to the water and this was borderline hence why I turned back but a bit of drama always makes for a good video 😆
Nice sequel Shaun looked a bit rough but thanks for showing us a real gem. That's on my list for the summer when hopefully it will be a lot calmer. Nice bacon butty to yum yum. I have invested in a whistle for piece of mind well worth it. Watersports wearhouse in hayle has a great range of snorkeling gear website is worth a look. Yes I was a little rough wouldn’t recommend those conditions 😆. How was Perranuthnoe this weekend? I need to get back in there it’s now one of my favourites
@@LoveSundays was a good snorkel went at low water good visibility and colourful seascape also a few starfish. Only down side the cafe was closed. I hope to get in next Saturday morning at swanpool it's calm all week according to magicseaweed.
Ideal Swanpool is a lovely snorkel. If it’s calm enough you can swim out to the private beach where I found that beach ball

Lovely video again Shaun however perhaps don’t do that again in Winter that was some scary moments watching you the the waves looked very rough and glad you didn’t go through. Glad you got back to shore safely and remember “respect the sea” 😬 and as you said “don’t try this at home”. Loved you cooking and having a bacon cob on the shore can’t beat it. Yes it restricted I tried taking off but I had to put in my mobile number and sign a disclaimer and that wouldn’t work because I had no internet down there 😆 I was proper gutted

Nice to meet you at Land's End the other day. Here's a video of us coasteering that coast a few years back, finishing through the Song of the Sea (proper name Zawn Pyg!). Do you know why it is called “Song of the sea”?
I’m not 100% sure. I tried to find some info on it before I went but couldn’t find the reason why it’s called that
