Multiple String Nose Button - Start to Finish

In this video, I show how I make a nose button on a 5/8" bosal using 8 individual strings that are all cut/split to the same dimensions. As I explain in the video, you can use this same style of multiple string button for many different applications.

Hey I have a question so I bought this bosal for cheap but it looks natural rawhide everything I was wondering if I could like take it apart and make the nose button shorter than it is and the whole hakomore shorter because it looks a bit longer than what I need could have been done?
