    Believe me ..this is one SOB to remove and even get to remove..but this is a 23 year old car
    needing this service. I am a pretty good backyard mechanic but those Malibu engineers
    made almost nothing easy to service on this 2001 Malibu, 3.1 engine .

      @@rickb06 thanks for the reply. I guess I have to wait until mine dies again and try and test if I have spark on the side of the road while its acting up. I hate this car

      @@dereckc9469 I've had the STUPIDEST problems isn't this damn thing too.. I recommend picking up a Micro Mechanic, it'll save your life... But DON'T use their crappy software, use 'Scanmaster' on Android. I can read codes, and I can clear codes. My issue with this stupid P1336 is that it's one of the initial diagnostics parts, it isn't like an O² sensor or ABS, this one needs replaced. Its only like a $17~ part though.
      Good luck man, here's the link for the app I use and the ODB2 reader!

      Sometimes it's just the connector developing a sketchy connection.

      Johnna Edwards I had intermittent starting issues with this car for several years, it would only crank and not start, then finally I replaced the camshaft sensor and the problem finally went away, till this day it hasn’t given me an issue. I’d recommend replacing your camshaft sensor, I also made a video about it check it out. ruclips.net/video/lUsP2lKAfME/видео.html

    - i have a 08 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, it has the 3800 v6 and is supercharged, for some reason my car wont start, it just keeps cranking, i put in a new starter, battery, and new key from chevy any ideas on what it could be?!

    • @JesseRGV
      @JesseRGV  4 года назад +1

      Clit Commander sounds like a fuel issue. I’d make sure fuel pump isn’t bad, check to make sure fuse/relay for fuel pump isn’t blown.

    • @slowgoat6089

      JesseGonzalezRGV - i hear the fuel pump buzz, how would i check the fuses? Just check if there blown or something?

    • @JesseRGV
      @JesseRGV  4 года назад

      Clit Commander yeah if you hear the buzz then chances are your fuse is fine and fuel pump is engaging. Check spark plugs next, try YouTubing reasons why you aren’t get a spark and go from there, you need spark for car to turn on.
