I have been looking for a compact film camera for about 2 months, today my coworker gave it to me as a gift! It had been sitting in his desk for years and heard that I am interested in photography so now I have it with me *.* Thank you for your video!!
The video was qutie clear and informative! I recently purchased this camera and I am running in to an issue with the shutter speed meter that you see in the view finder (the red LED lights). The camera always shows a blinking light at either 1000 or 2s, indicating that the image will be over or underexposed. I play around with the exposure dial and the shutter speed, but the LED light does not move. Could I be doing something wrong, or is this may an indicator of a damaged light meter? Thanks for any ideas you may have!
That’s a tough one. But i sometime run into the same issue. Is your shutter speed dial on AE or AEL? is your battery dying? Sometime mine shows the blinking light but also a solid light at my selected shutter speed and i just shoot it anyway and they have all come out fine. Here is a link the cameras manual. Maybe there is something in there. www.butkus.org/chinon/fujica/fujica_ax-3/fujica_ax-3.pdf

Thinking of buying this thank you for this do you have any info for starters because some of the jargon you used Im not familiar with
Look on eBay you can usually find one of these for like 50 bucks and our favorite film is Fuji superia

Just make sure it’s not untested on eBay
I can’t seem to get my lens to focus. Could you give me some advice?
Can you give me a little more information on whats going on. What are you seeing through the viewfinder? do you see the split prism in the middle?
