Was bored and thought, what would a drummer now days think of Burn. So, typed it in. Such an awesome reaction. Just like hearing it for the first time.
My favorite Deep Purple song, although it is so tough to choose. 🤘💜 The singer is David Coverdale, who went on to form the band Whitesnake. 🤘 Dio was most famous for his time in the band Rainbow. And that was Jon Lord tearing it up on the keyboard! RIP to the master of the Hammond organ. No one like him. He also went to Whitesnake after Deep Purple broke up for awhile. Drummer, Ian Paice, also went to Whitesnake after Deep Purple broke up. Glenn Hughes, bassist and backing vocals, is still kicking ass. He's currently in a supergrouo called The Dead Daisies. They just dropped an album with some seriously hard tracks.
@@jerrywoods4066 Dude is kicking ass in the Dead Daisies. I'm not kidding. Check out the title track from their newest album, called _Holy Ground._ It's really good!
That WAS Ian Paice (Drums), Richie Blackmore (Lead Guitar), John Lord (Keyboards, synthesizers), Glenn Hughes (Bass, 2nd vocals ["You know we had no time ...], background vocals), David Coverdale (Main vocals).
Such an awesome song. One of my favorites. Such a classic!! Thanks for exposing your generation to what talent and beyond cool was all about! PS- THE best drumming during vocals ever!!!
Search and listen to the live version in "California Jam 1974". It's not Ronnie James Dio on vocals but David Covedale who, after Purple, founded Whitesnake.
you need to watch this kid Yoyoka drummer from , outdoes herself again. This young lady comes from a family of musicians ,she cover this song it's great
The song, "Burn", is a Tour-de-Force!!! Also Great(er?) is the Live Version on "Made In Europe"... "Made In Europe" combines Live songs from both the "BURN" and "STORMBRINGER" albums, and is a Cherished Favorite of mine... Band Members (from all 3 albums): Ritchie Blackmore (All-Time Great Guitarist, along with Master Riff Writer Extraordinaire, Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath), Jon Lord (Wonderful Keyboardist), Ian Paice (Distinguished Drummer Extraordinaire), David Coverdale (World-Class Vocalist), and Glenn Hughes (Great Bassist, backing vocals).
Highway Star, Lazy , then Pictures of Home. All from Machine Head album along with Smoke on the Water but I rank these higher.......oh yeah , put Space Truckin in there too!
In this record, from 1974, the lead singer is DAVID COVERDALE, and the second voice is by their bass player, Glenn Hughes. Ronnie James Dio IS NOT HERE. He never sung as a Deep Purple member. This is known as the Mark 3 line-up of the band. I highly recommend you to listen and react to SPACE TRUCKIN' live version, from their 1972, MADE IN JAPAN album, to understand a bit more about this awesome and exciting band and their amazing members from the Mark 2 line-up, where the singer was Ian Gillan and the bass was played by Roger Glover. You can also listen to IAN PAICE on the drums in that recording. By the way, Paice is the only member who has never been replaced in this band, all of the rest were, in some moment of their history, but Paice. But,... if you really want to understand the drumming of Deep Purple, you must listen to THE MULE, live version from the same MADE IN JAPAN album. Good luck my friend.
When you say Ronnie do you mean Dio? He was never in Purple, the vocalists during this era of the band are David Coverdale who sang the verses and bass player Glen Hughes who sang the higher range stuff.
J 💥⚡H ......... Enjoyed that one! Please, do some tunes by BOSTON Rock n Roll Band We're Ready Smokin' More Than a Feeling Cool the Engines Don't Be Afraid Party Feeling Satisfied Foreplay / Long Time Hitch a Ride Don't Look Back ......etc. ⚡HIT after HIT⚡ Ain't No Shit!!!!!!!!!! Thanks, Josh
Mate, if you want to get a better idea of Ian Paice, check out Space Truckin - Made in Japan, or anything off Made in Japan, it's one hell of a ride. Also, if you go back to In Rock with songs like Hard Lovin Man or Flight of the Rat, that's more Ian Paice brilliance.
Got one for ya Warning by Black Sabbath one of there best check it out if you get the time Great reaction you get it there is lots out there waiting for ya
O.K. kids. LESSON LEARNED. There is a whole shitload of great epic music half forgotten by the younger generation. Please put down your hip hop and don't let this body of music slip away. This is just a tiny taste.
I always preferred Ian Paice over Bonham but Paicey never gets the recognition he deserves.
Paice was imo in the league of his own. He had unparalleled swing and finesse to his playing.
Was bored and thought, what would a drummer now days think of Burn. So, typed it in. Such an awesome reaction. Just like hearing it for the first time.
Ian Paice is such a great drummer, one of the very best. 'Fireball' is another drumming masterclass.
Drummer, The one the only Ian Paice. A master at his craft. And he does it all with only one kick drum.
ruclips.net/video/uhzX9QbH3jsM/видео.htmly 11 year old drummer from Japan.
My favorite drummer from the 70s thru 8os
It is not Ronnie but David Coverdale and Glen Hughes
Ian paice ti amo 💜💜👏👏👏👏👏👏
Always fasten your seatbelts before listening to DP.....and hold on tight!
They were headbangers with finesse 💜
Immense Deep Purple 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👏👏👏👏👏

I liked him in black country communion, so he's the daisies now , Glenn sure moves around alot

It's so fine to look at you, young boy, listen to my youth's music! Great reaction
That WAS Ian Paice (Drums), Richie Blackmore (Lead Guitar), John Lord (Keyboards, synthesizers), Glenn Hughes (Bass, 2nd vocals ["You know we had no time ...], background vocals), David Coverdale (Main vocals).
Stunning inventive musicianship across the board
I have a feeling that you're liking Deep Purple 😁
Been one of my favorites since the 70's.
Such an awesome song. One of my favorites. Such a classic!! Thanks for exposing your generation to what talent and beyond cool was all about! PS- THE best drumming during vocals ever!!!
Ian Paice is a drum legend
The tempo of the music sucks the air out of your lungs! Great musicians without doubt. It's always refreshing to hear the music. Legendary. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Got to listen to the live version on live in london dio oh dear its coverdale
You were bang on when you said “I wanna pause it, but I can’t” .... you just have to listen to this track in its entirety ....
ZEP and PURPLE are the greatest 2 bands that have ever been....
You should react to first Highway Star (Live) from made in Japan Album and then Smoke on the Water from Live in New York 1973
Ian Paice reminds me of Animal from The Muppets - that's a compliment by the way.
check out 'philthy' phil taylor from Motorhead - definitely Animal's twin brother!
This whole album is phenomenal.
Fire??Ah yeah it's called Burn for a reason!!🔥🔥🔥⚡⚡ GUITAR heaven. I loved these guys growing up. Great hearing your reaction Josh!!!✌
Search and listen to the live version in "California Jam 1974". It's not Ronnie James Dio on vocals but David Covedale who, after Purple, founded Whitesnake.
I'm not sure how far you've gotten with them, but every song on "In Rock" and "Machine Head" deserve a reaction, and (obviously) plenty beside that.
Grandissime 🎤🎤🎸🎸🎸💥💥👏👏👏👏👏
From the same album Sail Away, Mistreated ....and Smoke on the Water live from Made in Japan ..the greatest version
This solo fight in Hurt ❤😊
A song called highway star!!
It doesn’t get any better than that !
Total drum mind fuck! Ian Piace is phenomenal!
Listen to the live version. Deep Purple is the about the only band who are better live than in the studio.
Yan Pace énorme 🎶🎶🎤🎤🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸👏👏👏👏
Deep Purple - Lazy
Watch the documentary 'Count me in' on Netflix; it's about drumming, and Ian Paice is in it!!
[among others]
Dude, you've gotta check out the live version of the Mule, where Ian Paice does an incredible drum solo.
Also You Fool No One off of Live in Europe!
リッチーは本当に、すごいシンガーを見つけるのが上手い。
Highway Star, the live version from MADE IN JAPAN.
take a listen to DEEP PURPLE "Highway Star" too. And RAINBOW "Gates of Babylon" and "Spotlight Kid"
"Ronnie Dio kills it"? He's not the vocalist, David Coverdale is.
And Glenn Hudges
AAH, Sorry about that!! I just realized that I mistook Deep Purple's vocalist for Rainbow's! I meant David!😂
This music brings great memories back
Deep Purple had two awesome singers with this line up. DC and Glenn Hughes. Glenn would be the one with the higher pitched voice you hear....😎
FYI, Glenn is the current lead singer and bassist for “The Dead Daisies”.....check it out brother!🙂
Flight of the Rat or Hard Lovin' Man from In Rock
Might still be too early for you to do Space Truckin' from Made in Japan!
you need to watch this kid Yoyoka drummer from , outdoes herself again. This young lady comes from a family of musicians ,she cover this song it's great
As others have said you need to do Deep Purple - Lazy and then you need to do Joe Bonnamassa & Jimmy Barnes - Lazy (this is an amazing cover).
The song, "Burn", is a Tour-de-Force!!! Also Great(er?) is the Live Version on "Made In Europe"... "Made In Europe" combines Live songs from both the "BURN" and "STORMBRINGER" albums, and is a Cherished Favorite of mine...

You are so right. That is one fantastic live album.
💜
Highway Star, Lazy , then Pictures of Home. All from Machine Head album along with Smoke on the Water but I rank these higher.......oh yeah , put Space Truckin in there too!
Dio never sang in Purple. He was in Rainbow and Black Sabbath
Those days they were musicians ...
Make that 2 for Lazy
probably you should give Nightwish a try, go for "ghost love score" live in Wacken 2013
