Hi, hello! It's about dang time, huh?!
As I might have explained, suffered an injury back in March (Achilles) that required surgery, and the resulting process had me not able to do too much of anything for about two and a half months. Now, I am on an ankle brace, and the medical staff told me to put full pressure on it, but don't run. So I have this cover hot and ready for you. It's a re-cover, but honestly, I'd rather have this than how I covered in 2019 with a lack of equipment and knowledge for the things that I was using.
OK, so first thing's first: Speaking of equipment, instead of using the webcam for video, I used my phone with DroidCamOBS so I can actively see where I am while recording footage. I also have used a new editing software, VEGAS, so forgive me if the sudden cuts were a bit jarring if you're used to my fade-in cuts.
For some time, I envisioned a version of this song with a sax solo, so I decided to put it to fruition with this cover. I also decided to slow down the tempo, which was for the best, and learn the actual drum rhythms so I can program them in the DAW. I honestly think this cover came out very well, so I hope you guys enjoy!
