Lovely bit of nostalgia there, always great to hear a Class 40 on song. Some "classic" fashion on show too and some "interesting" antics at times too. I wonder where everyone is now and if they're still into the railways of today?

Classic footage from what looks like the Early 1980s ,Great times back in the day ❤️❤️❤️Fabulous video ❤️❤️❤️Classic Whistlers here ,Love the reaction of the kids at the platform and the fashion of back in the day who will either be in their late 40s to Early 50s now reminiscing about this 30 odd years later or something like that (Wonder if being Mums and Dad's nowadays will they look back on this with Great fondness and memories)🤣,Great times before Health and safety ❤️Wow Just Seventeen Magazine with these kids having fun ,Bet that's what they were then now in their Early 50s ,Great memories 🤣❤️

Pitty d200 is stuck in national railway museum at york gathering dust, I think the only time it's been out of there was last year it appeared at bolton street station on the east lanks railway it sat in a sidings near the platforms dead not running sad or what, the 1st locomotive off the production line and it's a none runner, all the money the nrm has got and if they don't want to maintain it why don't they sell it to the class 40 preservation society, and get this green whistling beast network certified again.

Interesting that the departure at 19.30 is through some points set against it.

Not perhaps, the greatest railway film-maker but he did seem to have a great ability to find idiots, both hanging out of carriage windows and on the platform!
