- An introduction to my French sanding wheel and its use.
This video is for informational purposes only. Working with tools like this is dangerous. Do so at your own risk.
Music by Clams Casino sampling Imogen Heap - Авто/Мото
Really enjoy the remix of Imogen Heap in the background!
She's amazing. This is a song called 'I am god' by Clams Casino
Thank you for sharing! I just got my disc and I'm excited to start using it.
This is tips and trick i looking for 🙏 thank you ❤️🙏
My pleasure 😊
Very cool. Take care.
Can you explain in a video your setup including the vacuum system? That is so awesome!
Thanks
Cool video
Thanks for the great video J.! Really is a fantastic resource for getting the right setup at the next level. If you happen to see this I am curious if you can give a rec'd on a good all around motor to go with and what var speed controller you use? BTW, got to sit next to you at the recent 2019 Vegas West Coast Pipe Show dinner and really appreciated the great conversation and open advice on pipe making. Happy smokes.
could I use that on my drill press? I mean would you recommend it or not?
Are these ever gonna become available again Jeff?
What is that machine called?
What rmp are you running? I have my French wheel on a 6” bench grinder but it’s only one speed. I think it’s too fast the the fold over part keeps flying up.
Where can you get the Beall buff motors like those ones? I have been using a regular buffing wheel and now I am realizing that it is too fast and I should use a Beall system.
The motors that I use are 3 phase with a variable speed controller.
Where can i order this sand disc
Hi, does the glue come off easily when you want to replace a sandpaper disc?
Yes, the general purpose adhesive comes of pretty easily. You could even use a lighter adhesive if you prefer. Essentially, the backing plate does the heavy holding. The adhesive is there to be sure that the paper pulls tightly and stays in place as you attach the back plate.
What kind of “plastic” do you use? (I’ll go check melting temps but thought I’d ask😁
Acrylic plastic
I wAnt to order one. But of a newb. Any reason I should get 4" over 6" model? Seems bigger would be better. Hope someone replies. WAnt to order now.
I prefer 6" for 120gr. I use the smaller disks for 220 & 400
I'm starting to build my shop, Jeff. Where can I buy this items?
unfortunately I am sold out and don't have immediate plans to restock. Selling tools takes a lot of time...and I just don't have enough of it.
too bad😔.Thanks, Jeff
