ive been thinking od a custom color,, silver base with medium flakes, then several coats of rootbeer candy, then a couple coats of brandywine, and maybe another coat of candy rootbeer, so it has a deep whisky color,., what do u think?
Most definitely, standard coats on kandy jobs are 5 to 6 coats. Spraying over silver base might require 1 to 2 additional coats depending on color. This color was semi darker so covered better than other kandys I have sprayed.

Would that get darker if you put say 2 more coats of the blue or no

If you wanted it darker, you could use Galaxy Grey as a base.
