The Cleveland Cavaliers Did The Impossible

  • The Cleveland Cavaliers have been very good this season, and they're far younger & more flexible than the LeBron & Kyrie led 2017 Cavs team that played Kevin Durant & the Warriors in the 2017 NBA Finals. This is the story of how Koby Altman, current president of basketball operations & general manager, went from losing LeBron & Kyrie to going through 3 seasons of losing to being a contender & having one of the best young cores in the NBA.
Led by newly acquired star guard Donovan Mitchell, the Cavs are now a major threat in the East with Darius Garland also playing backcourt, Jarrett Allen & Evan Mobley playing frontcourt, and defensive specialist Isaac Okoro at the small forward position. Players off the bench include Caris LeVert, Cedi Osman, Kevin Love & Ricky Rubio.

Hope this era is eventually known as the revenge of the small markets. They're still not getting free agents, but instead of that being the death sentence it used to be, many front offices are just showing superior team building instead of lazily resting on the laurels of signing 2 or 3 max players and expecting championships to roll in.

the Cavs didn’t bet on shit. They just became competent in doing a better job with roster construction. They brought in new management who knew what they were doing. When Lebron left his first year they were ass for 4 seasons. The organization failed him as they failed to give him some sort of help which wasted many great seasons from Bron. Bron wanted Stoudemire but what he got was a washed Shaq. That was so fucked up😂 They told that man to go ball up with Moe Williams and old washed shaq😂 Keep in mind this is before he had so called “Power in the organization”. They were doing those types of moves it was disgusting. Cleveland did manage to build a contender around Lebron and they won the chip when he came back. Then in 2017 they were even better but The Warriors were two loaded for them to overcome. 2018 was a just fuck it year because we gave these players that won a chip a contract that can’t be move. Lebron carried them to the finals but the warriors once again said nope. Now they are building good teams and it is simply the fact that they learned from the things that they didn’t do a great job off when Lebron was first there. They are just a more Competent organization.

Not trading for Amare Stoudemire because bitch ass Danny Ferry thought J.J. Hickson was gonna be the next perennial all star. The moral of the story is Danny Ferry is trash but he can't hurt us anymore.

Lebron teams contend but are full of drama and beef near the end. The roster is cluttered with aging vets on their last legs who make Lebron's life miserable on the court. The end result is worth it...but the championship high only lasts so long until it feels like you never won a championship again.
