    Golden State had no interior defensive presence. I saw it in the 2014-2015 Finals when LeBron put the team on his back and was scoring with ease in the paint. The only problem was Delly put everything he had out there and had to be hospitalized. I'll say it until the day I day: If Kyrie & K Love were healthy the Cavs would've won that Finals as well.

    When the cavs barely lost game 4 and it was 3-1 i knew they'd at least win the next one. I could see how pissed LeBron was after the whole thing with Draymond and other warriors players talking shit, Iggy mocking him, then the press conference happened. i live in the bay been a Bron fan since he was in high school so this was peak warrior bandwagon era where everyone seemed to have warrior banners on their cars and wearing curry jerseys in the bay area. My cousins and uncles were talking mad shit. Saying series was over. They was saying they didn't need Draymond for game 5 cause curry was gunna close it out. Then game 5 happened. • @alexleonhappytraining474
      @alexleonhappytraining474 3 месяца назад

      @@kbthegoat824But if you really watched the game, you’ll see Cavs were centering their offense around Bogut while he was on the court. Namely they always run Kyrie-Tristan pick-n-roll to attack Bogut. When that happens, no defensive tactic on the GSW side worked. You can see Kyrie dancing on Bogut, you can see Tristan pushing the switching guard in the paint and grab offensive rebounds on top of their head, you can see JR/Love/Jefferson knocking down open 3s when the wing player were forced to help. This was why the game time has been shrinking for Bogut as the series went forward (G1 16 mins, G2 15 mins, G3 12 min, G4 10 mins). And this was why even though the GWS got a 3-1 blowout in the first 4 games, winning by 29 points in total, Bogut himself had -19 plus/minus in those games. He was just a time filler, believe it or not. His defensive contributions did not justify for his defensive weaknesses. And when it boils down to key moments, it was always the small 5 lineup to close out the game for GSW. Bogut wasn't even on the court. Watch the games before talking.

    That 2016 Warriors team was the perfect of example of living and dying by the jump shot. They had no inside game; if their jumpers weren't falling they couldn't score. Meanwhile LeBron and Kyrie could get to the rim with ease. I'll never forget the feeling in the closing seconds of Game 7, when Kevin Love locked up Steph and made him miss his last shot and I realized the Cavs were actually going to win this thing and I was witnessing history. I watched all of MJ's championships and big moments live, but that Game 7 in 2016 is my favorite basketball memory.

I hear you on the rim protection where he averaged 2 blocks and altered even more, but what he contributed in those 12 minutes wasn’t enough to be the difference maker, for both wins and losses. He had 3 blocks in game 5 and the Cavs were still up when he got injured. He had 1 block and 2 rebounds in game 3 when the Cavs won by 30. He had zero blocks in game 1 when the Warriors won big. He had 1 block, 1 rebound and 0 points in 10 minutes when the Warriors won game 4. He wasn’t the reason they were up 3-1. Their small ball line up was. The line up the Cavs eventually figure out.

    One thing people never talk about was Currys choke session that whole series. This was 2016 Steph we’re talking about, he was missing shots that whole series that he would pretty leisurely cash in during the season. Off the dribble, fall always, deep threes, contested, he was making all these shots that season with the highest efficiency, so if he didn’t produce that choke job of a show he did during the finals 2016, Lebrons legacy would’ve been different, and the Cavs would’ve lost 4-0, cause they were already down 3-1 while Curry was not playing like his unanimous MVP self, so imagine what would’ve happened if Curry was playing like he did during the season 👀. But Curry choked and Kyrie and Lebron didn’t so the rest is history.

      Because if he does that, you have to acknowledge the year before where Kyrie and Love both got injured

      Perfect response! Lol Bruh he really said Bogut lmao. I’ve heard everything now trying to discredit Bron. Bogut would have been a non factor against that Cavs team.

      @@jamiethorpe5431 Bogut wasn't a non-factor. He was great defensively and made it harder for Kyrie/Lebron to get to the rim. Both had an easier time getting to the rim because he went down. That being said, if you want to acknowledge Bogut's injury in 2016, we have to acknowledge Love/Kyrie's injury in 2015, Perkins in 2010, Bynum in 2008, etc...

    When draymond who was playing out of his mind got suspended. Thats the only reason you won

    • @Fieryvortex48

      Draymond deserved to get suspended. Whether or not the flagrant was "weak" is irrelevant. He shouldn't have put himself in a position to get suspended in the first place. Not surprising considering his history though, so I don't know why you're acting like him getting suspended was out of the ordinary

    • @BigBxlge
