Hey! It seems that the ability to "fire and forget" laser guided missiles in the Su-25 (and probably other vehicles) was patched out/fixed recently. Now the laser lock will break and the missile will self destruct when you turn too far off of the target.
How do you move around the laser lock and keep moving it to follow the target, with mine I can put on the laser lock and turn off the lock but I can’t keep clicking it to move it around it will just shoot my missile
@@Keltaras and even when you hit su25 rarly dies from one shot. Played a game 2 days ago and hit a su25 4 times with my ozelot and this mf could still kill me and fly back to base
Bro, this was so good and also nice to watch ( im giving a sub for that) But it's crazy how well you see them and the atgms work for you lol, when i play su-25 i first cant see anyone because of small screen of laptop and low graphics and second my weaponary doesn't work sometimes for whatever reason lol.

Hi, can you teach me how to get the missile to lock onto the target and change the target from what you did clip? Because when I locked the target, I couldn't move the target except to change my missile launch view. But in the clip you can change the point where the missile will hit in the 3rd person view. For example, at 4:45 - 4:55 when you can change the target without having to change the field of view missile launcher view.
Aaaaand earned a new sub. Because I'm clueless on using those Kh-29s and really wanna see what keybinds those are. I've just been using the S-250s for tank RB. Couldn't figure out how to get those laser guided AGMs to work without guiding them in all the way with the nose camera.
Well this game was on a pretty lucky map for CAS. The nature of the spawns and city streets layout means you can quite easily predict where targets will be, and just look for muzzle flashes/smoke and black dots moving on the streets. I also play at 1440p.
@@ryanberry_ Yeah, Port Novo is amazing for that. And you got crazy lucky IMHO, with how many people are spamming SPAA to farm drones and Rooks. I've been having to fly NOE and even then it's iffy.

I think when you got that 2400sp you can simply J out as it gives u around 100sp, which could possibly enable you to drop that nuke earlier XD anyway awesome job as this is definitely awesome clip

I mostly got lucky with how the enemy team played. The same day I recorded this I had games where I got shot down by SAMs and planes and helicopters etc etc. I was also targeting any AAs that I saw as priority. But they were also pretty bad AA players to be fair.
I am new to air to ground rockets as I unlocked those planes only recently and I have little trouble properly setting up controls. Would it be for you possible to make a video describing what to set up to properly use those various types of rockets?

It was honestly just really insane luck with the targets aligning. The map and timing of my CAS sortie definitely helped, since the streets are so narrow and it was early in the game with people trying to push off of the corners.
Thanks brotha! The keybind is called "Activate target point". What I'm doing in the video is setting the target point, then my "Fire air-to-ground missile" button which turns on the laser seeker, then pressing that again launches.
hi ryan! how do you repeatedly re-mark the Kh29 and similar? i seem to only be able to do it once and then it stays there you somehow can move / replace the existing laze box several times even mid missile flight, how? thanks for answering!
Honestly I'm not sure right now, I'll look in to it and put up a controls/targeting video if I figure it out. The weird thing is, when I first did a test flight with the Su-25, it stayed locked. But I was also using the camera sight. The ability to use the Kh-29s/25s like I did in this video could possibly be a bug or not intentional. If you and your team is doing well enough to get a nuke you’re probably not gonna get to drop it before tickets die out most of the time

Nukes are so disappointing,you hardly ever get to drop it in time. I have not got a nuke yet, but this is what I keep seeing in videos.

Actually you don't get any SP for simply dying, you have to be killed by someone, and it gives like 50 SP or less in my experience.

For the atgms does it hit where you mark? Im used to the heli atgms where you hold the lazer on the targets
Yeah these ATGMs hit right where the target point is set, assuming you launch it at a good distance. Too close and it can't steer in time.
How do you get the targeting computer to update like that? I keep trying to hit a new target after my first run but it won't switch.

Russian missiles are so crazy good that they can splash kill an mbt. Meanwhile GBU-8 and Maverics can land straight on and you only manage a hit.
how do you lock them without switching views? I've never been that into aircraft in WT....doesn't hold a candle to DCS....but... am interested.
