Soul and Fusion are just too powerful, even the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman can do nothing to stop this from popping him off or banishing him.

Also there’s Dark Cavalry, those two cards don’t work on it and he’s usually beyond the 3k range, I’d say it’s a fair match up now between them and BE but Rockets don’t have any plays that matter.

instead of nuking agents thrice over they should have been harder on blue eyes and/or rokket. Deck variety is something konami cares about and on the ladder at least evry third game i play is against sucessor soul blue eyes.

They can't because of Friend Invitatiton Campaign, if a new player comes with that invitation they get a Structure Deck and if they hit to much Blue-Eyes the new player will get a unplayeble deck which will look really bad and give a bad impression for Konami, but what they could have done is to unlimit Floodgate Trap Hole and limit 3 melody or Dragon Spirit of White. Also you wanna talk about annoying decks to play against it, is freaking Shaddoll, for me that is the most annoying deck to play against it because it gives me Ritual Beast vibes and almost nobody liked that deck, and the Blue-Eyes deck i like because it lets you play Dragon Master Knight which idk if that card was playable in any other deck even in TCG and it really gives anime vibes

It's always so funny to see comments like this cuz it's not like they didn't know how the deck was gonna be played with the skill beforehand. They release it, let it dominate, and THEN do what should've been done from the start. Duel Links is a money milking process and they're counting on people like you to be like "Huhhhh? This ain't fair limit and ban some things and SURELY things will change come next release" but all the while they knew waaaaayy beforehand how toxic things were gonna be

I definitely agree that they knew that deck was toxic nonsense from the start, that skill is so comically unbalanced it would make ANYTHING unbalanced. Still, I don't think they accounted for just HOW toxic they made it when it comes to interacting with older cards. I'm sure the Man Thro Thro FTK blindsided them as much as they did the playerbase.

The issue with those hits is that the traps were the issue and some are still not banned yet

Tuning in the sky was so unfun to play against because there was literally nothing you could do except draw dark hole or smth and with summon breaker you couldn't even play the game to get the out that could help you.

Hitting rapid trigger will make people remove 1 levianeer, and basically there will be only one in the deck, and i believe he is the biggest problem of the deck

Idk I feel like they went overboard with agents. Sure, getting rid of the floodgates and ftk was well warranted, but there was no need to turn msb into a garnet and limit the synchro plays.
I'm guessing you didn't even bother touching rank this season due to Agents on the Horizon. Clearly you don't understand what it's like to play *cough* I meant wait 3 minutes for an Agent player going first to only end on a board with Summon Breaker, Masterflare Hyperion, the Pluto Snychro Level 5, and Sky Scourge negating all spells on the field from that point on in time. You basically scoop as one, dark hole would be negated by Sky Scourge even if you draw into a dark hole, monsters would just get banished the moment they used an effect by Masterflare Hyperion, Pluto Snychro Level 5 is a monster form of the spell card "Book of Moon" that's reuseable every turn, and Summon Breaker ends your turn by force if you summon 3 monsters either normally or special summon. Oh wait, Sky Sourge would negate Summon Breaker too so nevermind, your opponent gets to decide which floodgate to use between Sky Sourge being on the field with Sky Sanctuary or no Sky Sourge but you have to deal with a Field Spell named Summon Breaker!
@@MysteryS4869 Uh I did play ranked and the WCS this season (for the record I played against way more players using Borreload Link and Spirit Grasp), that's why I said getting rid of their access to floodgates (i.e. Invicil and Summon Breaker) was totally justified 😄. Without them, Masterflare and Pluto are just as effective as any other quick-effect monster in the meta.
I had the agents structure deck as a kid that’s why I spent like 20k gems making it for nostalgias sake when it came out. it ends up becoming rlly op, gets nerfed and now is borderline unplayable. I’m done playing this garbage, Elden ring dlc just came out too.

Ancient Fairy Dragon might be a box UR, but you can also get a copy guaranteed with 100 Box Chips, so that might be the precedent here - box URs are fine to hit if there's a way to get them for cheap/free.
I don't understand the Sky Scourge Limit??? Konami says they did it to "reduce the ability of the agent decks to take control of the field"; but they also nerfed the Tuning in the sky skill so that the player can no longer Normal summon monsters outside Agent and Hyperion and sychnro monster; which means they can no longer summon Sky Scourge Invicil even if they did run it. Why limit it as well when agents were the only deck using it?

Also I'm guessing it's because Blue-Eyes is bascially a 50% spell deck: we have the Melody of Awakening Dragon, Successor Soul, Ulitmate Fusion, Bingo Machine, Go!!!, and... oh right, Trade-In.
Next in line we have Sky Striker with 3 Raye Monster cards and the rest is literally just Sky Striker Spell cards and Into the Void x3.

OMG you're right... at least we can still run Heritage at 3 (box UR ;3;) so we can still search our pieces fairly consistently. Only a big problem if you were running heritage x3 + ROTA (I wasn't, but I can't speak for everyone else)

As a Sky Striker enjoyer i approve of the changes, no invicil or heatwaves anymore and i wasn't playing summon breaker anyways. The deck still is only rogue but you can outplay people atleast going second now instead of scooping immediately. Rokkets and BE matchups i don't mind that much even when they're super cointoss reliant now so only shaddoll is tough but i take it.
I'm utterly baffled Infernobles of all things got hit. Absolutely NO ONE was using that deck, everyone was busy running all the other degenerate garbage running the meta.

I am very happy that Blue-Eyes (for both Speed and Rush) has been practically unscathed except for some cards I never used, but I'm disappointed that Phantom Knights somehow got it as it still was a favorite of mine. Must be cooking something up, though, with all the Buster Bladder stuff, though.
You know, my friend, the problem is not in preparing the cards, but rather in preparing the broken skills that give strength to the group. As for the band list, it is bad and not fair because they left Rocket, Blue Eyes, and their broken skills.
As someone who ran Tachyon in it's prime despite having enough respect for my opponent to not use the busted FTK parts of it, and kept with it until Darkfluid came out: Will admit that Agents got slaughtered even worse than our dragon did. I think they both got overkilled but at their current states at the time of those lists I believe it's understandable. Although i feel like Agents was much worse for the game than Tachyon but that could just be me.
About damn time they addressed the Ophion and Phanton Knight Rankup spell!!!!
Also, screw Tuning in the Sky! That skill should never see the light of day after the war crimes it has commited!!
I remember abusing heat wave back in my Infernity F2P days with Infernity Inferno skill. Heat Wave combined with Hey Trunade on the next turn made my deck feel like a real demon deck..
I remember staying up till 2am just to grind Rex for Heat wave that one night before I finished that F2P deck..
The amount of text on the tuning in the sky changes just shows how much sh!t that skill was able to do.

That was expectable, this kind of deck that comes from nowhere and becomes op with their skill gets rapidly smashed to leave the room for another busted skill. That’s how the game is now.

All of the decks that are hurt by lancia got a proxy buff. Rokkets can still search it which is silly, but agents end board was the reason it became the most played card in the game. Now it will probably drop back to its normal spot of only being used by people who are prioritizing certain match ups, not literally everyone running as many as they possibly can... I hope...
it says alot about the state of the game that stopping effect monsters is an immediate "fuck no!" from players, yet comboing into forcing your opponent to be able to do nothing because of effect monsters is perfectly fine.
This really only gets agents off the board it literally doesn't change the meta because blue ey3s will still run rampet

The Infernoble Knight hit is absolute blasphemy. That is one of rhe most expensive decks in the game, extremely mid, and now if you disrupt Roland they are pretty much cooked and can't go into Charles + ni more ROTA...yeah, that sounds fair. /s

Man I really hated facing Ancients. They just came out though. Really sucks for those that invested all those gems into it. It will probably still be somewhat playable though.

Agents had been having too many banishment crimes in the game. Masterflare Hyperion being able to banish cards on the field multiple times in a row on the same turn IN ADDITION to the 3~7 types of floodgates it can cough out on any starting hand is just stupid.
@@MysteryS4869 this is false. Agents never set up more than 3 floodgates. Yes, it's a lot, but you know what solved that problem? Limiting those cards. After the limit Agents can't play any floodgates anyways (since Masterflare is pretty much required in the deck)
Besides that, Masterflare is a good caed within it's own archetype. It's not overpowered, it is fine in the meta. Annihilating the skill is just dumb since, without floodgates, Agents are a good, fair deck. Now, they are literally unplayable

You knew a banlist is coming after the kc cup and similar to what happened with tachyon, anything too op would get hit. I just always skip playing against agents, but having many accounts for variety of deck, at least I can still play barrel or quasar or zombies or the brain dead battle chronicles. It's better to create many accounts than spend real money on Komoney

Levianeer can be used in a lot of decks, but I don't think Rokkets should be able to have turn 1 Levianeer handrip and be able to play that many draw2 spells (especially since they now limit1 the agent hand negate, arguably a less impactful card). Konami loooves their dragons
They probably could have hit Borreload link harder but I think their goal with the limit 3 was to stop or slow down the Iblee varient of the deck.
When PK abuses the boss monster of another archtype repeatedly and as a toxic flood gate, it was obvious that their RUM was going to get hit again.

Ancient Fairy Dragon is now obtainable with box chips, therefore it's craftable and kinda f2p, so I don't think Konami will give any compensation for it (maybe box chips if anything).
Tbh, I think it's time Konami adds the ability to dismantle box cards for box chips, or the ability of "merging" multiple copies of a card to increase its finish (2 copies = glossy / 3 Copies = Prismatic/ 6 Copies = Legendary Prismatic).
I don't see why they'd compensate when it's a Limit 1 and not an outright ban. They'll be uncharacteristically generous if they do cause there's no way they will lol

Duel links banlist works different from tcg's, here ypu can run only 3 limited cards in total, limits apply on deck not on copies of cards, so in example with this banlist both ancient fairy dragon and summon breaker are limit 1 now which means you can only run 1 of either, not both at the same time
In Duel Links cards that are on the same limit (1/2/3) conflict with each other, meaning you can only run that amount of cards with that limitation in total on your deck (2 limit 1 can't be played in the same deck, 2 limit 2 can play only be one copy of each, 3 limit 3 can play only one of each, etc.)

I figured out a way to make yugioh beginner friendly again and to destroy this toxic meta of 20 minute turns and game ending boards in turn 1. Limit special summoning to like 3 a turn.

They limited a cyberse boss monster in rush and didn't buff psychics at all, only speed change that could make me like this list after that would be Summon Breaker being banned, but even that couldn't happen
