4 the love of everything, stop ripping the cards off the back, u have 2 helicopter it or it pulls the picture off.
Hi, Ken. Bully was based on a true story that happened in South Florida a few years prior to the film. It was actually filmed down in South Florida. This was when Brad Renfro got into trouble with the law by stealing a boat.
I was about to say the same thing. I forgot about Brad Renfro stealing a boat.
Upcoming Caligula: The Ultimate Cut (2023) Collector's Edition 4k big box
Excellent 70s plane hijack movie. Sean Connery was excellent in this.
Quick paced movie. Some great cinematography of Norway.
FYI excellent 47 minute Sean Connery 70s trailer reel on the umbrella Blu-ray.
I watched the new Umbrella Ransom (aka The Terrorists) (1974) Collector's Edition (Blu-Ray +Book +Rigid case +Slipcase +Poster +Artcards). Nice HD transfer. Great special features.
Mr. Chunky boxset is back. 😁I'm waiting on a few from Umbrella myself. Can't wait for my chunky boxset of Ozploitation Rarities Volume 1, A Lizard In A Womans Skin, and Possession Collector's Edition. 🤙
Tank girl is a great pickup. The shout factory Blu-ray is out of print. Rachel Talalay who directed Tank Girl also Directed Freddy's Dead the final nightmare. 😄
I got the standard version of Dead End Drive-In and actually just watched it earlier today. A great release, and stacked with special features.
The movie THEM is so underrated. I picked that one up too. Most of it is filmed in my home country of Romania.
I watched it and was willing to sell it for a loss. That is how much I thought it sucked.
Bully is Larry Clark’s best movie in my opinion. Rip Brad renfro
Love big chunky boxes 😊 for my collection 😅
I love Umbrella - my only criticism is that some of these releases, even the more basic versions, are still very expensive, even in Australia, but they still utilise old transfers for some of their blu-rays, ones that are rather dull and lifeless looking...
Now, I realise these are only what they're licenced to release, but If I'm spending $50aud plus on a single blu-ray, I'd really prefer a fresh, nicely remastered transfer.
It's not always the case, but it is rather annoying when you spend that much money and the transfer is so disappointing, especially when the same transfer is available on other releases for cheaper.
That being said, I'm very excited for their 4k release of Caligula coming in October!
Shaft was 1971, a couple of years earlier. Coffy is such a fun film, great 70s style.
Umbrella have catapulted themselves right past other boutiques to near the top of my radar lately. Lots of cool box sets. Dead End Drive-In is a fun post apocalyptic flick, BTW. I'm beyond stoked it got such lavish treatment. Same with THEM. Got a bunch of stuff preordered. Disney got out of physical media down under but that doesn't mean it's over. They've got Umbrella, ViaVision and Imprint filling a lot of gaps.
Cool collection
Check out Coffy first. It's great.
Nick Stahl played John Connor in T3. That’s why the name sounded familiar.
The Chaser is the OBVIOUS top priority. A 10/10 dark thriller that only South Koreans can deliver!
Coffy is Awesome. If you have not seen it yet definitely worth a watch.
Thesis might be their first boxset I pick up. Hard to justify spending that much, but I really like those first few Alejandro Amenabar films.
I hope they pick up Abre Los Ojos/Open Your Eyes and give it the same lavish treatment. Awesome flick.
The chasers is incredible
That Tank Girl boxset is really awesome looking, the box art is bad@$$
Jackie Brown is a great movie. We need a 4K for that one.
I want that dead in drive in collectors set. I love dead in drive in. It's a classic movie I already have the arrow release.
I pre-ordered Ransom! I only saw this movie a few months back as "The Terrorists" on Tubi. It was a good movie, so I decided to buy it from Umbrella.
Wish they'd open a US branch. Shipping is a gut-punch from Australia. 😂
Free shipping for US orders over $140 - not difficult to spend that much with all of Umbrella's releases.
@@xghoulishgalx and they used to have just very recently coupon codes CEREAL15 and FILMSATHOME15 you could use and even stack on top of that free shipping and sadly I was gonna order 3 things and the codes no longer work :(
I need to grab the Tank Girl release. Such an awesome fun movie!
Edit: Got it on order! :-)
Not the first Ransom bluray release as the UK got it some years back it’s a good film. Shaft was 1971 Coffy was 1973.
24:37 I have heard of 'Ransom' starring Sean Connery and Ian McShane, but never saw the movie. However, I do own the soundtrack on CD with music composed by Jerry Goldsmith. :)
Wish I could afford some of these. Coffie and athe Chaser are great.
Hell of a stack! I just made my first purchase from Umbrella (not counting the vinegar syndrome partner releases lol). Caligula and the Pusher trilogy.
lol oh damn this was my second. Totally forgot i ordered the 1Up edition for super Mario bros! That was forever ago
I have the OOP Tank Girl Bluray from Scream Factory
RANSOM. In the states we know IT as THE TERRORIST
The Original Sgaft was 1971
Them is a great movie
For Sean Connery movie ransom is. The original fim. Mel Gibson ransom is the remake
Tank girl is good
Tank Girl a crazy movie based off of a even crazier UK comic book series, if you ever get a chance read some of the comics
COFFY is an amazing release and definitely more cool badarse than Tank Girl!
Damn the LE Coffy is sold out.
Hello. You missed the upcoming release of the Hell House LLC movies (4), the most recent of which is streaming on Shudder. Too bad on their site they’re only offering the deluxe set with posters, etc. - they make a point of saying the standard version will only be available in selected stores (?). Love the movies but can’t quite justify spending $90 for a bunch of stuff I don’t want. $50 or $60 for just the movies maybe but where can that version be found?
Are their releases all region free or not? Reason I am asking is because I want to preorder the Hell House set but if it’s region B then I can’t get it due to not having a region free player
They all say Region B, but every single Blu-ray I’ve tried from them is Region Free and plays on my regular player.
@@midlevelmedia oh perfect thank you for the heads up! Going to put an order in now for a few things plus the Hell House set! Thanks for letting me know! 🤙🏻😊
Only if that was 90s Mel Gibson Ransom I would be all over it but my blu ray will have to do and it might be out of print now being a touchstone release
It is Oop. You’re right
@@midlevelmedia with Disney buying everything up and hating the physical release game a lot these titles might be going out of print I was trying to pick up sling blade and that's out of print how does sling blade go out of print lol? I'll end up buying it used off eBay for 40-50 range now it looks like
Are you still doing your monthly round-tables
Returning soon…
@@midlevelmedia Fantastic news! The best thing on the channel.
So annoying u get this stuff for free when u don't even know the movies. Have seen all of them. Bully is Larry Clark's best
Bully is the shit. If you end up not liking Bully then ill never recommend movies ever again. Because our tastes just dont align as much as i thought.
Chaser is forgettable. Them is forgettable. Just my opinion
Iooks 👍
The second one.
Rachel miner was in supernatural tv. Show and in bully film they have some rough sex scenes in it. Please don't let your kids watch this one. Because it's more for adults
I got to be the first one to Like!
can't stand Umbrella Entertainment. every time i want to get one of their big LE's nope out of stock. just one more reason why my movie money is going to iTunes for movies now.
Only one I wanted I've missed out on was Trust The Fungus there aren't really many releases they've done that interest me
Yeah they suck and clearly are a small time company
