Sonic Mania is a platformer published in 2017 by Sega. Unlike more modern iterations of the Sonic franchise which focus on a mix of 3D and 2D gameplay, it echoes much of the early entries, focusing on strictly 2D momentum based platforming. It brings many of the old stages from previous games mixed in with new, original stages, tied together by a banging soundtrack.

Man, this reminds me of my "Road to Sonic Mania" series I did a while ago, which really sets how far our blue boi has come! I'm now currently playing Frontiers, but these classics will never be forgotten for me!🫡
