I would like to study for a master's degree in the future, but I don't know how demanding the language requirements or placement exams are.

I have no idea, but you can try to email the faculty of letters because there is a Japanese Literature course: the Graduate School of Letters: mita-bun@adst.keio.ac.jp

I know, I was lucky because as an exchange student my home university helped me a lot, but Keio administration responds quite fast, maybe you can try to mail them (just in case you haven’t done it yet), they were helpful with all my questions, is there any specific program you want to applied for?
