Hey guys I want to study Japanese language in that university can I ?how I am from Algeria I graduated from high school now I am in college thinking about moving on and follow my dream
hey, i started growing avocados too a few months back! i tried the method that you used in this video but it didn’t work out for me either so i tried another method where you wrap the seeds with damp tissue and seal it in a ziplock. the roots should start appearing in 1-2 weeks or even more in some cases and then you can relocate the seeds to a bottle of water(fill the bottle with water and place the seed on the tip of the bottle) and the roots and stem should start growing:-)
Dont try to grow avocados with seeds. Because of the way they reproduce, the avocados you grow will taste very bad. You have to buy a branch of an existing avcado plant. Almost all avocados today are from the same single plant.
How far away is the dorm from your classes? How long does it take to get from your room to your classes? Do exchange students stay there too or is it only for the full 4 year students? Waseda is my dream school and your video has inspired me even more to go there! I love your style of filming and editing and you did a great job at showcasing the dorm!
Me and my besties , start to think if we can go together to Weseda (but this will happen in 2years but anyway) and I would like to ask if we can get a dorm all together ? Is it possible
Hey! I'm so sorry for replying to your comment late :( I'm not sure if getting a room together is possible in a dorm (an apartment would be more promising although I don't know about that process) but getting into the same dorm at least is possible!
We talk about this one like a week ago and we had the same thought but since covid has been going on idk how it will work if it continues like that . But thanks for replying
SILS dormitory is basically consisted of multiple rooms with 4 dormitories in that one square. In there, it is mandatory to have at least 1 foreigner. so it is to be expected to have 3 Japanese + 1 foreigner (or more potentially). However as the video shows, the dormitory is separated into male dormitory and female dormitory. If you and your friend are both the same gender and get into the dormitory, you could just visit their room despite being in different square.
This is so nice ❤❤😭 May I ask you .. How much did this dorm costs for one month?! I really want to study college in Tokyo and live in this dorm 😭❤❤!! Is this can be possible for the foreigner like me?! I wish you can answer me.. Thanks for this video💙
Can I ask you something? I heard that the university has to draw lots to decide a certain amounts of students who are qualified for living in dorms of the school. It means that not everyone have the qualification to live in dorms. Is that true? (If everything goes smoothly, I will go there in 2021 as an international student as well)
Just found the channel! rlly like your room, which is no nice and clean. one question for you if you don't mind answering... as you mentioned in the description box of some of you videos that you are half Japanese, quarter Vietnamese and quarter of Thai, what exam did you take to get into a jp university? Did you take EJU or other exams?
Hello! Yes haha i am half Japanese, quarter Malaysian and quarter Thai but I grew up abroad and applied with my IB results (International Baccalaureate)
So nice, may I ask you how to choose dorms and stuff because I'm going to take admission in Waseda university and what it's cost and can I do a part-time job while living in a dorm. Sorry for so many questions.
doing a part-time job while being in a dorm is definitely possible! And as for choosing dorms the university sends information after admission, good luck with your admission process!
Hello! Just came across your video :) I'm planning to go to waseda as an exchange student, would it be possible to ask you some questions about the university?
@@misatofujii Don't worry i also just saw this ❤ Thanks for taking the time! I study in Amsterdam and Waseda is a partner university. I always wanted to go to Japan since I have studied Japanese for a while already, but I'm a bit unsure about a few things. Sorry if it's a bit overwhelming! 1. I was wondering if Waseda helps exchange students with establishing bank accounts, the travel and visas or if you have to take care of it yourself. I know they help with accomodation but there's so many other things to deal with. 2. I'm also wondering if their admission criteria for internationals is very strict (if you know). My GPA is good but definitely not the most outstanding, it does meet their criteria though. Still I'm worried it won't be good enough, how is the admission procedure? 3. The last thing is more about something cultural. I am worried about standing out due to my appearance, I'm relatively tall, pale and just exotic looking I guess. Are people more accepting nowadays or can I excpect a lot of stares and maybe unpleasant ecounters? I know it might be hard to answer all of this, so don't feel pressured. I appreciate you trying to help a lot, thank you 😊
Thank you so much! At this dorm, all students who are entering university (first-year) from anywhere are welcome. I'm not sure about other dorms but I would think so since it is a dorm! (I would check the requirements for specific smaller dorms though)
I love it!! I'm planning to study for my master's degree in japan but I don't know so much about the prices of living. How much do you pay for your room at the U? :(((
thank you! I think rent in Japan starts from around 70,000 yen (cheapest) but not including water and electricity... most nicer apartments start from at least I'd say 85,000 yen (not including water/electricity) but there are a lot of options depending on location too so I'd take a look online! :) (There are also dorms for Waseda master degree students!)
Hey! sorry for replying late! I think that during high school just making the most out of your years is important and keeping an open mind for what you want to pursue learning or doing in the future through your current academics or opportunities will help you to write your college apps and make decisions! Also get involved in experiences and opportunities that interest you while you are in high school! :) Good luck!!!
Hey! That's really exciting! :) I would say that WISH definitely has a stronger sense of community and it's easier to meet people (as the space and events are much more communal). If you're looking for places to live that might offer more independence and community though, other than WID and Crevia, there's also a dorm near Waseda called U Share Nishi Waseda to check out!
Hi thank you for the response. I just saw Ushare and even though the vibe is completely different it immediately became my favorite dorm. How would you compare WISH to Ushare.
@@chrisc3411 haha I'm glad to hear you liked the vibe :) It is a really great dorm! I think U Share offers you much more independence (since WISH is for first and second years, and there are a lot more rules.) They both have pro's and it depends what you're looking for. I'd say WISH is more for if you want to specifically make friends within Waseda and at the same year level (and have a very dorm-like experience) whereas U Share seems more like a share-house vibe from what I've seen and heard.
