    The SAT is honestly more of an English test than a math test even for Americans.

      @shinigami1176only difference is that it's all together and it's full of trick questions and formulas left and right there is a reason why the Math part is at the end of the test not the start. And if you've taken it you'll know the comment isn't wrong the hardest parts are the Reading and Writing section

      Real intelligence is using your abilities to benefit humanity and making the world better. He can’t do this. No one intelligent believes This person is “the smartest man in Japan”.
      If he actually was the smartest person he wouldn’t be wasting his energy on taking tests. He’d solve complex problems that’ll help humanuty.
      There are levels.. no intelligent person on a global level. Thinks people like this are smart, only average people do.

      😢Ephesians‬ ‭6:10‭-‬18‬ ‭Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. The bible is no old book. You have to really let Christ open your eyes; to see the world in shambles. Many people say it's a religion to lock up people in chains, and say it's a rule book.. why? Because people hate hearing the truth, it hurts their flesh, it's hurts their pride, it's exposes on what things have they done..people love this world so much, s*x, money, power, women, supercars.. things of this world. Still trying to find something that can fill that emptiness in your heart. You can't find that in this world.. only in Christ, the bible is no chains, it's a chainbreaker. Breaking your sins into pieces... Repent now, and turn back to the true Lord only.. God bless.

      The SAT isn’t the main focus of the college admissions. Although a high score is required for prestigious universities, the other colleges mostly want to see extracurriculars, a meaningful college essay, and letters of recommendation. And even for the prestigious universities, a high SAT score isn’t enough

    I grew up in Japan and I took the SAT and honestly it was ridiculously easy. This does not mean that I am smart. For sure, if you were to ask any junior high school student in Japan to solve the SAT, especially its math, at least 90% of them would get a perfect score. I have heard many stories of kids who were always at the bottom of their grade in Japanese schools and were ridiculed by everyone, but then went abroad to study and were treated like geniuses there, and at least as far as the SAT is concerned, it seems to be true.

      aa-yb1ptIf you want admission into a us University, you should be all rounded. I am applying to it but i do not have any awards and extra curriculars. Letter of recommendation plays a key role in admission process and so do your essays. SAT is optional now anyways so i am not attempting it. To be honest, i don't have any hope getting into a us uni but i am trying my best.

      I looked at a few SAT tests and their math sections are surprisingly easy, reading questions seems to be rather hard compared to math sections but even though my English isn't that great most questions seemed easier than the reading questions in Turkish university exams. For my understanding, it seems like SAT is not too important for colleges in America when applying and they rather want you to take AP exams and do well on extracurricular activities while in high school. Wish I was a student in USA or Western Europe

      Yep,
      For number 31, i actually kinda suck at this, because i might get it wrong for the equation..
      ($0.65*5)+($0.75*x) = $8
      But with this equation, i got 6.34 which is not a fix number. Well, because Lynne got the money of only $8, you can't go more than 6, even though the number is a lot more in decimals. CMIIW
      For number 32, the answer is
      180-34 = b+c
      146 = b+c
      For number 33, the answer is
      (700+1200+1600+2000+x)/5 = 1600
      5500+x = 8000
      x = 2500

    • @parky7417
      @parky7417 2 years ago

      ^ ^ this right here. people thinks american education is bad but theres also a factor that some people in america dont give two shits about their score for one thing. in asian countries ik damn well its strictly ruled that they have to study and try their best to do well on their entrance exams, which is diff from a standardized test. Also in Asia their tests mean everythig while in america sat is only 1/4 or 1/3 of whats important.
      Also ppl who dont go to america dont understand that we all learned all the SAT content (usually) in middle school and are learning shit like pre calc at minimum to more advanced math like multi and calculus, ap physics etc. But thats only on average. some schools like harker high school have crazy ass people who already know calculus by freshmen year and take multi in like sophomore year@anishyarra3618

    7:58 The reason it is asking for 3x-2 instead of x is because there is an easier way to do it instead of finding x and then solving 3x-2. 9x-6 can be factored into 3(3x-2) and then you can isolate the 3x-2 and get the same answer in less steps.

      Why a University entrance exam? He should be taking a Japanese highschool exam similar to the SAT. Makes no sense why he would take the University of Tokyo exam. If he takes the University of Tokyo entrance exam, then this Japanese gentleman should take the Harvard entrance exam 🤷‍♂️

    • @animeotaku9110
      @animeotaku9110 2 years ago +24

      @HieNebThe problem with your statement is that the the equivalent for SAT in Japan is EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admission), esentially they take exams in a university level in order for them to go to their dream college/university. That's why most Japanese Highschool students study in their freshman year or senior year while going to cram school. So the OP is correct in saying that they want to see the smartest man in America take a University exam since its esentailly the SAT of Japanese high schoolers
