- Come along with us for a couple of #rvliving weeks to a state park that does lake life right! Harrison Bay State Park is located about 25 miles north of Chattanooga Tennessee on the Chickamauga Reservoir of the Tennessee River. This park was the very first Tennessee state park and offers tent sites, #rving campsites plus free WiFi in the campground, a swimming pool, nature center, shuffleboard equipment, horseshoes, board games, bike trails, basketball courts, a golf course, marina, and restaurant. Bike, kayak, and paddle boards are available for rent just outside the park. Any vacation near a lake is a good vacation. I love sitting by the water and watching it for hours. You guys always find the best places and one day I'm hoping to stay at these places. The deer are beautiful. Love seeing them. The snake was so cute! I have 2 pet snakes so I'm a little obsessed with them.
Wow, 2 pet snakes. That is cool. I don't think I would ever have one as a pet but I do have family members that have them.

Junior didn’t mention his guest visitor I see!!!! Harrison Bay has the best boat ramp on the south end of the lake. Plenty of parking and regular patrols from game wardens so your vehicles are safe while enjoying time out on the water.
We enjoyed your visits too 😊

The ranger seems so cool calm and collected I would have been freaking out even being that close to the snake!

That does look like a nice park… we love the water views. You have a new subscriber, we like traveling to Tennessee, what a beautiful state. Plus, we love staying in log cabin rentals in NW Georgia mountains, you live in a great state.

Looks like they have a lot of great activities! I like the girl talking about the snake. I can touch a snake if somebody else is holding it but if I see it on the ground, I’m running away. I always enjoy sitting out looking over the water!

I love watching travel videos. My favorite part of your video today was the snake and the happy little dog who was excited to make his way to sea. That was just too cute, he was sick of waiting for the humans.
We see a lot of dogs at the lake with life jackets and on Kayaks or paddle boards. Really cute 😍

It looks like the perfect place for a family vacation,or just for one to relax the mind, body and soul.
Omg she was a pro holding that snake. That would not have been me at all lol. I remember when I was in the 5th grade we had a snake in our class and I was obsessed with trying to hold it. Now not so much lol. And the lake looks so pretty. Definitely a cool place to watch the sunset.
We tend to be braver when we are children lol. All my grands wanted to hold Penny the snake. I was ok just giving her a little rub 😁
The park rangers here were great about sharing information on the reptiles. It just made the kids day. And we enjoyed all the deer that would wander up at night.
We definitely saw the most wildlife this time at Harrison Bay.

Nice to have you watching. We actually bought our first drone last month. We are Learning to fly and use it. Not great at it yet.
OMG I can't with sneaks lol. I would have freaked all the way out. I'm a lil dramatic 😂. My spouse is from Memphis so I've been there and Nashville it's so pretty just like your video.
The Tennessee state with the River running through it is a beautiful place.
The state park looked like a nice little trip, nice lake views! I would definitely be scared to hold a snake, I’d maybe touch it though. It’s great you can meet other people as well along the way
Meeting other people is our one of our favorite things about #RVing.

Ohh that snake looked really cool!! I would love to visit a park soon! We haven't really done any camping or anything yet this year and its almost autumn!

The snake the Seasonal Ranger was holding was so beautiful. I'm not fold enough to hold it in my hand like she did but I would like to pet the snake. I was thinking that she looked like copperheads. We just went on a walk yesterday and was talking about the copperheads near my local part. very cool experience
We didn't know there was a rat snake that looked like a copperhead either. I'm sure they are killed just by being mistaken for one.
Harrison bay state park seemed like alot of fun! I held a huge snake last year, so I would be up to touching that one! It’s crazy how much it looks like the copperhead- if I were to actually see one like that in the wild, I would definitely panic
We were fortunate that the park rangers were so interactive with us and the kiddos. It made their day.
When are y’all leavin? We’re coming in on the 9th.
