- Lake Guntersville State Park Campground offers a beach right next to the RV sites and is a perfect summer destination. Not only will you see the beach in this video, but you will also visit the water splashpad, the playground and see the EMU and donkey sanctuary. Who knew you could see an EMU at a state park? Lake Guntersville State Park is a 6,000-acre park located along the shore of Lake Guntersville. Its amenities include swimming, boating, tennis, 18-hole golf course, hiking, a Nature Center, cottages, chalets, and campground.

We are a middle-aged couple who bought our first camper in 2019 after selling our home and embarking on the #rvlife. We love all forms of travel and have always been #weekendwarriors. In October of last year, Junior saw a neurologist for some issues he was having for a while, which led to a diagnosis of ALS in November 2022. Thanks for your support.
