    If i use Ettore Brass Channel 18in and i want to use Unger rubber.
    Do i buy precut 18in Unger rubber or i go with longer and then cut it myself?
    Dont know if precut 18in rubber is not best fit and Ettore Brass Channel might damge frame of the windows ?

    If you didn't work in the rain you would never work in Scotland 😁. The squeegee sms messaging is a buy credits to send messages isn't it? Also if a customer replies to the message sent through Squeegee do you receive it as an sms or a message within Squeegee - i.e. do you also get notification on your phone of a message coming in? Great vid, could have even been 2!

    • @TradMan
      @TradMan  Год назад +2

      Yes it's credits 😊👍🏻
      If you enable two way sms in the settings you will get replys within squeegee app.

    Hello, I really like your videos, they help me a lot in the beginning of my job, I just had a question, I saw that before you was cutting the angle of rubber on your precision squeegee, after then you had stop a little but recently you start again to cut it, does it make a big difference?
    Thanks a lot !

    • @TradMan
      @TradMan  Год назад +1

      Hi 😁
      Glad you like the videos!
      Yeah its doesn't matter if you cut the rubber with angles or not. I didn't cut the angles for years but it caused some confusion with viewers so I just cut the angles off again. Try it both ways for yourself and see what you think. 😉

      You can actually buy a 6 inch moerman squeegee now. I used to cut a channel with a hack saw, then file the edges smooth with a metal file.

    Hi tradman . Is it possible to use walnut pad on new triple glazed windows?? They seem very soft glass ie easy scratch. Have a customer with new windows and they are covered in water marks. Nightmare to remove. Could you advise a procedure please? Thanks for video

    • @TradMan
      @TradMan  Год назад

      Yes you should be fine with walnut pads. Always perform a test patch first though. Use unger rub out to remove the water marks. We advise getting a scratch waiver signed just incase. Inform them that although the risk is low, when removing anything like hard water, paint, cement etc there is always an element of risk of scratches. I've had this before on brand new double glazed windows, one window had light scratches from me rubbing with a bronze wool pad. The other windows were fine but one window got scratched. Also tell them if you see any other issues you'll let them know, make them feel your on there side 😉👍🏻
