Hello Pete very good to see you back tradding using the best tools for the job,you are an inspiration for people who are able to open their minds and see how easy it is to do the job professionally and reap the rewards as shown at the start of the vid keep it up mate and I hope all is well up there in Bonny Scotland
Wish i could hang out but in the field today doing a dealership grocery store and home. My helper is out with a torn ACL so my day os gonna be longer than i want today and the next several weeks till I find another helper., but hey; a job is a job and the windows aint gonna clean themselves.
Brilliant video again Trad man 👍.I honestly didn't know you could "straight pull " with an excelerator/ liquidator and ive been using them.about 7 years !!
Nice to see you back on the block Pete. Good to see a pro at work with your squeegee techniques, I'm left handed but now cut in the way you do and I'm happy with that. Those bikes, both Honda's? Couldn't quite make out what machines they were, the yellow one looking like a Hornet and the red one a Trans-alp? Hoping to pick up a 600Hornet in the near future myself, been off two wheels for too long now. Keep Yuh vids coming mate. Take care.
hi Pete lets hear it for all the windy bikers I've a Aprilia tuono 1100 v4 factory and a 1957 Norton dominator. Lots of Ducati (Volkswagen) around these days. Don't think I will be trading in the fairy for that soap though. Great video
Hey David 👋🏻 I love the Ducati monsters. Cracking looking bikes. I have the triumph tiger explorer 1200. Carlie has a honda cbf 125 as she has only got her provisional licence and not full one yet. I go camping with my bike and the tiger is brilliant for it. Its quite heavy but once your moving you don't feel the weight.
You can buy 25 litre barrels online from the likes of Amazon and Ebay. The trolly system came from window cleaning warehouse. I did a video on it recently ruclips.net/video/xbPnxfoxMns/видео.html
Hello Coach, I have a squeegee, 3.4m pole, 25L container, bucket and cloths. I have a hosepipe that can connect to customers kitchen sink. Can’t afford anything else. Any advice as I don’t have a ladder and can’t afford one. I have to find short houses to clean
You'll have to build it up a bit at a time. Keep advertising! Facebook local groups are free to use just don't spam them. Put fliers through doors and just keep plodding away building up your gear as you go. Perseverance is key in this game.
Thats a great question! I've used both methods for 15 years. Over that time I've been able to compare the results of both. I always find the quality of a wfp clean is not as good (once dry and you can see the real results) compared to a nose to glass clean using traditional methods. In our business we want top quality everytime with as little gamble element as possible. With wfp there is always a gamble element to it and as most users are gone before it drys its impossible to say to customers you will do a good job with no drip marks/spotting etc. All to often I've noticed missed dirt on windows that the brush didn't remove but the trad tools managed no problem. Of course this is just our business model and not for everyone. All I do is aim for the best we can for our clients and only use wfp as a method if we can't safely access the windows. Of course we also charge accordingly
@@TradMan fair enough, you are skilled with the pole. ive tried both, been a window cleaner for 11 years, i just cant make as much money doing trad as i can doing reach and wash due to the speed, but i guess if your able to charge more for a more premium service good on ya
Any possibility that you could test out more professional window cleaning soaps? Theres Windowmaster from Buzil here in germany which many say its good altho on the windows here in our house it doesnt work for whatever reason. GlasKing from Kiehl. Squeegee Off from Ettore and many more these days. If Unger is good at one thing its marketing and selling eskimos ice cream......
@@TradMan My boss tho goes for the cheapest unconcentrated junk he can get..... I do know from an ex-colleague that they switched to a professional soap, for them it seems to work out fine. I personally stopped using the cheap junk soap from my employer pretty much.
Hello, curious about the green power rubber,i believe that's what your're using. How long does that stuff take to break in?Been using it awhile and i still get loads of friction when turning. When i switch over to ettore rubber no problems.
Hi Pete, not always advisable to show the fruits of your labour to the world ( the two bikes 🏍️) always someone that will be jealous not me two cracking bikes and I’m sure there great fun to ride on those long and wined country roads. With the glideiator I think you should do another video but using say the unger handle and channel as 90% of window cleaners don’t like or use the liquidator channels because as we all know the liquidator channels can be a pain in the ass and you have to use a lot of soap as you see in your video when there’s at least 8”-10” inches of soap being squeezed on to the washer each side . I’m not bashing the liquidator channels I use them but god they frustrate the hell out of me. Good video as always.
Hi Pete! I have the same opinion about a Glideiator - totally vaste of money 😂. Did you try the Neutral soap solution that I gave you at the last Interclean in Amsterdam? Best regards from Highrise clean Denmark 😊
@@TradMan I’ve used them for years on and off and find them best used for small Georgian panes or insides, great on pole work above head height then change squeegees for the lower part of the glass for me.
Ladder and A Frame ladder job been done half the time

Why do you use a ladder as opposed to a telescopic pole around the back of that house? Thanks for the videos !!!!
A ships anchor.....🤣🤣🤣
With the soap, all I heard squeaking was the birds.
Great choice of music.....

Hi Peter, How much do you normally charge for an average house, say 3-bed semi-d house, outside trad cleaning? Thanks
When cleaning glass, are there certain tools that can be used to remove stubborn dirt, such as adhesive residue, from the pane?
Yes many products and abrasive pads

Ole reliable dish soap. Cheap and works every time.
Yeah 👍🏻
Hi mate, as that an old roof rack you've bolted to the inside of your van for wfp and brush storage?
No, it's designed to hold poles. Check out window cleaning warehouse website for pole rack
Cracking video trad man.

What did you attach to the telescopic rod at 7:33 and then use it to clean the window frames?
Handy tool from maykeer products

Buy a bottle do a video review on it.
That’s the price you pay using a Liquidator lol you need a ridiculous amount of soap.
You honestly don't need a ridiculous amount, as long as you apply it to the washer you get increased slip on the glass.
