Have you noticed any “pixelated” handwriting on the ViWoods? I bought both the ViWoods and Boox Go, and for some reason my handwriting looks very pixelated on the ViWoods compared to the Boox with every stylus I use. Wondering if I have a defective unit or just how the tablet is. I really like the AiPaper’s layout, but the pixelated handwriting is rather annoying.
You can make the "home" page of the Boox tablets much cleaner (less distracting) by clustering "themed" or less-used apps into one or more groups. It's interesting to see how few apps you really need on your Apps screen. That said, I really like the Viwood's window pane approach to clustering activities. That's a feature (interface) that Boox could easily bring to their notebooks -- and it should certainly be optional for the user.
I went for the 10.3….but Boox had tried to charge my card twice, so the purchased got “red flagged”. In that process I was made aware of how lacking Boox customer support options is? And honestly sketchy to contact (email address). Right when I was about to attempt the purchase again…I saw the new Remarkable coming out tomorrow lol. I’m waiting!
the viwoods claims to allow full encryption of the unit, while no other tablet in this category does allow as far as I know. It'll be nice if all these youtube channels could include a review of that feature in all devices the review. It's a highly oversaw feature.
I had the Remarkable 2. It was a beautiful device, but in the end it was just too limited. Most of my books are on Kindle and I like Kindle for reading. I like the synching of notes between devices, I like being able to export all of my notes. So, I sold the Remarkable and bought the Kindle Scribe and I like it, but I don't love it. It feels a bit too trapped within it's own ecosystem. I've recently discovered Perlego, so I'm reading more PDFs than before and it would be nice to have a more universal cloud storage option. So, as a reader first (who prefers a bigger screen) and a notetaker second (although I do take a lot of notes) I'm wondering if the Go 10.3 is the best way to go. Having a front light is not a big issue for me.
The one thing I miss the most in the boox platform and especially the go 10.3 is the calligraphy pen. Boox really needs to add that to the pen list . Both the remarkable and the Viwoods have it and that is why I am keeping my remarkable and will get the Viwoods even though I have the boox go 10.3. Kitt you gotta bring this up in your reviews of the boox enotes.
Went for the quick starter including the 2 off the tab pack as I really loved the concept of it and couldn’t decide and 2 for the price of one remarkable , hopefully I can make them be able to sync each other and get the best of it .
When you do the lots-of-lines thing, PLEASE use a plastic ruler in addition to freehand so that we can see real straight pen paths as they are influenced by magnetism. One of the reasons I'm keeping my Nova Air 2 and ditching my Tab Mini C is because of the magnetic "line warp" in the lower right corner, even when used out of any case/cover and flat on a wooden table.
I wish the box go has 1300 Carta even though the screen is great i want it faster in pdf. The viwoods would be better for me if the pdf viewer was up the par with th e competition and i don't care for ai.

Would be good to do a video on external front lights that work well with these. It's hard to figure that out as a shopper.

Holding my breath for a Boox 13.3 refresh! 🤞
That would pretty cool. I'm hoping for a Boox Go 7.8 to use as a "wingman" for my Go 10.3.
@@Gallery90 Yes, Boox is missing a new 7.8" tablet - which is such a nice size to carry around

The Viwoods or the Boox would solve that problem, you'd have access to all the ebook stores & apps available on Android
If kindle book gets removed by Amazon does that mean your notes on it / for it get deleted also?
Hi, how did you manage to get OneNote on the viWoods?
Does pen latency change with the type of pen you buy or is that linked tp the tablet?

Now this needs to be refreshed with the remarkable paper pro.
Why would you refresh it with much bigger color screen tablet? 😂 Makes no sense

The viwoods looks nice. I saw a negative review but it looks ok to me. I like the non invasive styling.
I really enjoy the styling and layout. It’s a little more robust than the RM, but not as cluttered as the Boox.

Thanks.
I wouldn't buy viwoods. They are pretty new to this business. Also you can't even buy tips for their pen on their official website!!!
