- In this video, I’ll give you a full room tour of cabin 19504, which is a Deluxe Interior cabin on deck 19 of MSC’s brand new World Europa cruise ship.
I stayed in this room for the first two nights of my recent 21-night cruise, but loved cabin due to noise from the Yacht Club Galley, which is positioned directly above this cabin.
If you’re new to my channel, hello! I’m Fraser, and I’m hoping to use this channel to introduce as many people as possible to the words of ‘cruise’. I’ll be spending 2023 at sea from March onwards, so I’ve got plenty to show you - hit ‘subscribe’ and let’s get out there - let’s go!

Awesome cabin tour! I hit subscribe to join your channel! :)
Ah, hello - welcome aboard! :)
Great interior cabin. I would definitely book it.
HOORAY!!! They have moved the USB by the bed..that was a real pain, also I like the fact the wardrobe doors now open outward. The sliding doors were a pest in bad weather! Good job Fraser :)
Thanks Scott, and I agree - some really good changes here. It’s always so good to see a cruise line listening to feedback!
Looks pretty nice.
It's so weird that they have those interior cabins in the middle of the yacht club area though. Could you sneak into the Topsail Lounge and peek out at the view? :-)
Ha, I know! I booked it thinking it might’ve slipped through the net and been YC accessible - sadly not. Haha!
It looks like a nice size room.
Thanks for the tour. That is a really nice cabin! Good they moved you though so you can sleep. 😊
Thanks Tammy - 21 nights without sleep would be horrendous…!
Why not a small love seat with a fold out desk instead of the chair and the desk with the stool? I'd put the TV on the wall across from the small love seat. It does look like a nice room and the ship looks amazing.
Some interesting thoughts actually - thanks for this! The ship’s a stunner - absolutely HUGE!
Well appointed & functional room. I could get use to it 😃. In our world the room is really not a biggie. But - yes the location is IMP! We were under a eatery and the tables scrapped for an hour each night starting a 1 am 😬. Good to hear your accommodation - if you don’t ask you don’t receive 👍
Oh my goodness - I always think being under a restaurant must be a nightmare, especially a buffet…!!
Love this cabin.I would hate to have the galley above.Glad you were able to move.
Very informative review!
Thanks very much, Paul. Glad you enjoyed it!
Lovely room! Thanks for the tour! BTW my lineage through my maternal grandmother is Porteous going back to Scotland in Borland, Dumfries. Relations perhaps? Lol
Wow - that’s amazing - perhaps we’re distant relations. Great to have you in the family, ha!
I like it Fraser but I also hate you for going on all these nice trips, enjoy
Ha, thanks John - I’ll apologise now, shall I? Thanks for following along!
We have an interior booked on deck 9. 1st time inside but this looks good 😃
Ah, I’m now in an inside on deck 11, so I expect it’ll be identical to my new room (almost the same as in the video!) :)
@@FraserAtSea how was the movement when you were at the front of the ship? Our cabin is right at the front, much lower but still at the front :-)
@@mariannereeves949 hey! I honestly haven’t struggled with motion at all on here, but then it’s not an overly ‘wild water’ itinerary. Overall, I’ve hardly felt this ship moving regardless of where I’ve been!
Excellent review. Thank you. Is this cabin based within the Yacht Club?
Hi George, and thanks! Good question, as this is deceiving on the deck plan. It’s actually accessed via an internal corridor beside the Yacht Club entrance, so unfortunately not.
If you stay tuned for my vlog series from this ship, I’ll be showing you the ‘internal corridor’ in my embarkation day video!
Such a great interior cabin and nice to see the USB has moved so more people can find it.
They probably use bathroom pods which are probably more cost efficient than making them different sizes depending on cabin size.
Honestly, I’m SO delighted about the USB ports - I bet they’ll be using way more power now than ever before now that passengers know they’re there, hah!
@@FraserAtSea I think you’re right 😂😂
The USB on light way better even when you found them it was a pain plugging them in at right angle.
@@johnchapmonkey8933 I think that’s how it is on Virtuosa?
@@johnchapmonkey8933 couldn’t agree more - they’re so ideal on the front!
So you say floor 19 front had a gallery and was noise. Which floor would you recommend for inside cabins? Because i think most of them are on front of the ship and levels 15+.
Hey! To be honest, the only ones I’d 100% avoid are the ones with something except a cabin in the vicinity (above/below/either side). Don’t worry about them being near the front - World Europa’s such a massive ship that you rarely feel the motion (in my experience, anyway!)
you are not the only one on the ship atm heh. . .
Hope you’re having a good cruise!
Definitely looks a larger room than Virtuosa's inside cabins. I was fond of the triangular sink tho! 😅
It’s a really good size actually! The triangular sink I think looked bigger than it was - in these new rooms, the sinks genuinely are a LOT bigger than those other ones.
Thanks for watching as always, Stephen!
@Fraser at Sea I think I was taken with the idea that they chose to go with the triangle version in the first place!
Please stop posting 😢 You are making me sooo jealous. I was going to book for October, but the price jumped so exponentially on our website that I had to book Seaview. You are breaking my heart😂
Would I stay in that cabin .. No. If the kitchens are directly above it then the noise during the night would be awful. Just returned from 2 weeks on Iona and had 1 nights full sleep, on deck 4 the engine noise / vibration was 24/7. Ended up sleeping on the deck after Brekkie for a few hrs. First night at home slept 9 straight hours. Unless I can get a cheap deal on a Balcony cabin then I fear my Cruising days are over. Made me very Grumpy.
Oh no - this is what I was terrified of when I was awake for hours this first nights. I guess it shows that you just need to be SO careful with where you choose your cabin!
Inside cabins not for me , upgraded to deluxe seaview on Virtuosa plus free drinks and NHS discount..FAB 🎉
Oh, excellent Carmel!
NO Kettle!!!
Don’t worry - I ordered one to the cabin after this video! You can call guest services and they’ll deliver one - they only supply them in the cabin when you’re sailing out of Southampton!
