That's freakin' hilarious!! Keep the retro videos📼 coming!! AND PLEASE get a perm NOW and combine it with a standalone mustache. That'd make my Christmas!! 🎅🎄😀
My mother wanted me to do a perm when I got back to high school because she wanted me to curl back. I was a little ashamed as a man because she had taken me to her hairdresser who had made me a perm cut like woman. But in high school I was successful all the girls thought that I had dared to make myself a handsome haircut.
@laurent5117.. I went to an elderly old school hairdresser for haircuts .. it was a bit awkward being in a beauty shop with old ladies but she cut my hair better than the barber .. many times while she’d be shampooing my hair she said I should try a perm but I was afraid it would turn out like what you described you got ..
@@Tony-yg9mc I understand exactly how you felt, Tony. My mother made me do many perms at her hairdresser all time I was in high school (15-18), and I even continued after to please her because she wanted me to be curly. It was strange for me to find myself in this hairdresser, in the middle of these old ladies, with curlers too, like them. It was a ladies' lounge and I had the same perm haircut as a woman.
@@Tony-yg9mc My mother’s hairdresser made me many perms during the whole time I was in high school (15-18) and even well after. I did it to please my mother. I really had a real woman’s haircut, curled back, like old ladies. It’s not easy for a young man to undergo that.
6:26 Just trying to work out if your temples were going back at 17 compared to when you were 14… Looks like they were because your hair was so voluminous in the videos of you at 14 and 15.
+Nick Shell Hey Saint Nick, Since I THINK that you said you have some German ancestry, here's wishing you and your family(your parents seem awesome, BTW) a Merry Christmas🎅🎄⛄❄ and Fröhliche Weihnachten !! PS I think you look A LOT like your Mom. DO you agree?! PPS PLEASE bring back the perm for 2019 !! :-P 😀
Your perm looks really nice. You should get another one! They are actually back in style.
These videos are amazing. Great insight into who you are in today’s world
I was born in July or 98 lol what a trip man, you were getting perm at age 17 while I was just being born into the world.
Thank you for sharing the video. I had my first perm in 1983 which was when I was entering my senior year of high school.
@Rick Hooper .. I chickened out. Right at the last minute .
@@Tony-yg9mc that’s too bad
What a handsome lad you were in the past, would understand why you had such a beautiful Wife coupled with your humorous personality

I think this is the last one...
What made you decide to do hair videos back then? Have you always been into hair?
WOW that stylist was excellent. She knew her work well.
So true!
Like a young Shia LaBeouf
do you have any photos or videos of your hair and recession in your mid twenties ? would like to compare to mine haha !
The style looked really good on you! You could probably still pull off some sort of curly style if you gave it another shot.
