Ghosts are a requirement in low level races
and why not use the amount of “ghost” activation per race to create races whit people that has a higher percentage of activation and races with people that don’t use it quite often…
or maybe, use that data to just ban this kind of people 🤷♂️
it’s stupid that people that want to have a god clean race have to deal with this childhood players
Weirdly enough there is this feature in Forza (ghosting for the whole race), and people still crash 😂

@@aimanazrie8944 Forza ghosting, especially in Horizon 5, is a sick fucking joke. Half the time it won't work, or it'll only ghost for the slightest bump instead the biggest ram of the century.

Holy shit that's such a good game mechanic to automatically protect people from petty drivers
except it doesn't work most of the time.
in my last race a guy went wide into corner, ended in grass, then immediately turned to come back in full throtle. he smeshed into my side from about 50 degree angle. I went from 7th to 12th with front wheel damage, so another 2 guys overtook me in next corner as my grip was basically nonexistent.
do you think he got a penalty for that? (he did not)

FH5 does it the best tbh. The game predicts when a intentional collision will happen and will ghost that driver, and then at the start of a race *EVERYONE* is ghosted for 30 seconds. It may not sound like a lot, but trust me it’s a lifesaver.
@@Povertycab I am not saying it was griefing. I just stated that the ghosting protection and penalty system in gt7 is inconsistent. recently it happened to me, too, but I got ghosted until I rejoined the race and got up to the pace and got a penalty for ignoring track limits. so who knows how these features actually work because it seems random tbh
Why cry abt bumping
There should be a report feature where GT7 reviews the race and punishes these kind of drivers.
Nahh. People couldn’t handle a button like that. They would abuse the F out of it. Just be patient and get that rating up. This stuff doesn’t not happen (often) in the S class.

They tried that shit in many games, but the only thing that happens is that some group of friends will spam report random players. Only solution is getting into leagues. (Well, or even better, getting a pc so you can use lfm lol)
It’s because Gran Turismo is a kiddies game that you can play with a controller.
As long that is possible there will always be kiddies who do this.
I also think they instantly should get a permaban for dumb stuff like this.
Crashing always have consequences, better learn that at a young age!
I wish there would be a simulation out there that only functions with a wheel, you have to register with your full name, ID and bank account and when you wreck people on purpose you get a fine and have to pay a fine, minimal 50$!
Oh and a mandatory age restriction, I’d say 21 but since most good drivers who know how to behave are younger I’d say a provisional license from 16 to 18 and then you mastered your time on probation.

@@mullittmustang256 it's not as common as you would think, I've got D sr and a D dr and haven't really put enough time in to improve my ratings, but I've had some absolutely amazing battles and the only times I've been taken out are usually just because Im a lot more cautious with my braking and im always far earlier on the brakes than everyone else, and even that hardly ever happens.
Isn't xbox players that send racial slurs after they lose and earrape and 70% of them are under the age of 14?

Today I was racing in assetto corsa, and got a NICE start so I went from 2nd (my starting position) to 1st.
I was gaining a lot of time, until a lapped guy brake-checked me, and my engine broken 😭

I've been having a blast on some GT2 Monza servers on AC, it's incredible how some people think it's just too funny to slam into you on t1.
Take notes, this is how ghosting should work. Detect any intentional attempts and make them feel bad about doing it. :)

The best penalty system ever implemented in sim racing is the "vote to kick" system in Live For Speed, a sim from the 2000's.
Its in assetto corsa too

Gt6 had that, not sure if gt7 has it as I don’t play online
GT7 has Kick option in open lobby's but this is ranked sport mode, you cant just vote to kick people or it would be abused.
Such a good feeling when your in a lobby of people who don't do this and you can wheel to wheel pull off awesome stuff without accidents.
I feel so bad when I play a track for the first time and miss my breaking zone , then slam into the car in front of me as I oversteer.
It’s never on purpose but I still feel bad.

But you can’t really get to know the track if you don’t over shoot the braking zones a few times

Which made me think that you're the right guy on RUclips to make a nice video about racing gear (gloves, boots, etc). I just got some karting gloves that I use both in karting as well as on the sim and I'd like to know what you think the advantages of using this type of gear are

This is what you get in any racing game... Regardless of it being sim, simcade, arcade....
Not iRacing. You get suspended or banned for that.

most of these stuff happen in short races, When race is long you can just keep putting pressure without passing someone for 1-2 laps and usually it doesnt even take them few corners before they make a mistake where they have zero chance of retaliation as you pull away from corner

best thing you can do if your bad is not put up a fight let the faster driver by, brake when they brake or even slightly earlier, and follow there lines
Comprehensible but you have all the rights to play online. Just be honest, polite and do your best. Incidents happen, you may make mistakes but so do everybody else (open a lobby in any racing game and look lol). I tell you that because online racing is quite funny and I'm definitely not a pro
There’s a difference between being bad and being intentionally malicious, it’s okay man everyone starts the same
If you think how that works then don't. But being a bad but respectful driver is actually precisely the right approach. :) And don't let it keep you from having fun.

Cara, eu coincidi contigo em alguma corrida no iracing faz alguns anos quando você começou na f3, faz muito tempo que eu to no iracing mas desde que eu comecei a jogar o gt7 com o psvr2 eu nao consegui ainda voltar pro iracing… acho o gt7 mais diverdo e mais recompensador e menos punitivo… isso faz com que eu jogue tbm mais relaxado e se tenho que batalhar posição eu vou limpo e muito mais tranquilo.. o ponto negativo disso é que acontecem essas coisas e nao existe nenhum tipo de punição, pelo contrário, o cara acaba ganhando… 🤷🏻♂️

I was rank S in fair-play and now I'm B because I was hit in 3 races !!! I didn't do anything
I can imagine a League player with S rank doing nothing wrong and getting demoted to D and having to deal with these bozos like in the video, it will be the craziest video.
@@MrGatanasov I captured one of the races I think. It was with a (honestly it was a bit hard to control) monoplace from the 80's on Monza. I got rear ended at the first corner, pushing me into the car in front of me and in the grass. Penalty for contact and going out of the track. Then in the second chicane, someone just plows through it, again pushing me. And then after some laps someone just rammed me off the track to overtake me. While being in S fair play and B in skills. What the hell. Now I'm in B fairplay. I was in S fair play since the start of GT sport and just because of 3 races in which I did nothing I'm now in B.
The ghost feature is such a blessing!

This is every single racing game online. All people do is smash into you even if y'all are both dead last they would rather crash you both then give both of us a chance to climb the ranks.
with the exception of those that have a monthly subscription model, with sever or harsh consequences and punishments for driving like a cock, or exceeding track limits and the ability to have incidence reviewed by a real person/steward if someone has caused a none racing incident. Those dont have the above issues, and it makes the racing sooo fun and enjoyable its worth every single penny
The worst thing is also dudes that do not brake when they clearly need to beake i.e. on a corner after a long straight. They hit u right on the a$$

It’s awfull, even in nationscups or manufacturerscups in the Sportsmanship rank S (the highest) there are still so many people trying to ram you of the course and the penaltysystem lacks a lot. And if you leave because your race is ruined because of these morrons your sportsmanship gets a penalty. They really need to fix it!
Getting good safety ranking is piss easy and it only serves to make your lobbies empty. Better to keep it artificially at B by cutting corners. At least that way you get to play the videogame.

This is one of the main reasons I quit GT7 multiplayer. A year ago I was in 7th place and I'll remember the all red Ferrari Italia in Gr.4 the pinned me into a wall and made me crash. I not only had the whole right side of the car damaged, my front bumper and engine were also damaged. I also got a 3 second penalty for it. I think it was on Trial Mountain, on the straight.

This used to cause chaos in Forza horizon 4 and other games before they brought the collision ghost in, used to be piles of cars around the first/second corner 😂
Personally I find being behind a driver more thrilling cuz yk you can pass them but it’s just so much easier staying behind and when it gets boring you can always pass on the straights

this is why wreckfest is the best racing game. you will always have someone in a racing game race poorly and collide. in wreckfest, it's part of the game! It's also fun to drive with a wheel. 3rd person is reccommended.

What gets me. Is if these types focused on acrually racing over the ram tactics theyd probably actually do better and have more fun.
This is how I play against cpus. It’s honestly fun to put them and watch the chaos in the rear view. Couldn’t imagine doing it in an online race tho.

Some people do crash in but not intentional because of the controller etc it is sometimes hard to make smal adjustments while not messing up your main route but these type of ppl is the one who always think they are better driver and wants to be always 1st

Jus got gran turismo , haven’t played it since gran turismo 4 ( only career ) I’ve been on forza ever since multiplayer/career && any advice ? This games so different it’s crazy I want to drift mainly , but want to start racing .. I’m on controller as well ( for now )
