Shes coming together well and looking pretty damn good! Nice work and great video and info! Will help many people who see it. Idc how many sbc engines I put together, I still love watching videos like these just to make sure my ways aren't to crazy different then others 😅
I once had a 1985 SS Monte Carlo with a 350, but whoever had before me put 305 heads on it and it did make pretty good power. But after beaten on it as one does, I started getting header leaks. Well I come to find out GM had cheapened out and had put press in studs on the block for the headers. Yes, that's right, Press in studs! Man, I thought that was about the sorriest crap I had ever seen. I ended up taking it to a shop and had them thread every single stud hole
@@bkgaragerestorations im definitely going to take on your method instead of rushing all the time and not being that confident in the end because i moved to fast, much respect...✌️✌️
I LIKE THE WAY YOU BUILD A ENGINE GOOD JOB.

Very tedious, good looking work,I like your technique, very calm...and you use the best parts 👌 👍
Thank you. I like a slow methodical approach to engine work. When one little mistake can destroy the whole project, patience pays off.

Nice step-by-step 👍
Great video man. what brand of aluminum heads did you put on the engine ?
They're from Performance World.
The guy who taught me to build engines agreed with sealants around water ports but NEVER anything around intake ports. Just asking for a vacuum leak.
I was advised the opposite. Everyone has their own preference. I’ve had zero issues with it. It runs great and has no leaks.
Try the Motion Pro adjustable torque wrench adapter . Use a box wrench connected to your torque wrench.
What heads gasket you use
Wonder if this pan would fit a 98 k1500 z71 truck 🤔 I'm pretty sure they fit the c1500 but not sure about the truck being 4x4
Two grunts and a fart is the precise torque for the small wrench on the intake
I usually do 2 1/2 grunts
