I have had shelving supports made with gas piping for a couple years or more. I held off installing them because I think I'll need another pair of hands. Maybe lumber prices are more affordable so I can get the shelves. I really like your tape tip. Using that will help me determine the board length. I'm also going to steal that stain choice. This is for my office and I really like the industrial look.

Love the shelving unit but agree with some of the comments that there are too many books, it all looks a bit too noisy at the moment. Trimming them down a bit will make the console unit pop! Also love the mantle, but think the brick colour could be toned down a bit, would match the kitchen wall x

So simple, soo smart, and something to practice for a lifetime (that I would never have considered. 🤯) This series has kept me sane during our ADU (accessory dwelling unit) build in my grandmother's yard. That is amazing. Well done! Just needs a lil cord management. Move the router over next to the cabinet on the same shelf then cut a bit from the back of the cabinet and tuck all those cables inside the cabinet in a lil bin so they're organized and you should not be able to see any of the cords after that.
