  • Do you have a lot of donut stones ready for DIY wire wrapping projects? Well, I think this OM WIRE WRAPPING tutorial Donut Stone Pendant is just what you need! I wanted to share something meaningful for a DIY wire wrapping project and something easy as well as beautiful. In this tutorial, I show techniques in hammering and filing jewelry wire so you can get more texture for design from your wires.
Using just 2 wires and a 1.5 inch donut stone, you will learn to create beautiful, wearable art using an ancient and meaningful symbol.
I am using 16 gauge, round dead soft wire and a 1.5 inch donut stone, but you can scale the wire and stone size easily. All of my videos are full motion with detailed instructions at each step.
    Enjoy and be the peace!
Please subscribe to my channel if you're enjoying my tutorials!
I will be publishing more in the upcoming days and weeks!
I hope you enjoy my Donut Stone OM Pendant Step by Step tutorial!

Thank you for your continued support!
    Tools:
Chasing hammer and steel bench block
    Jewelers file and P400 sandpaper
    Flush cutters
    Round nose pliers
    Chain link pliers
    6mm dowel
    Materials:
I am using a 1.5 inch donut stone with an 8mm inside diameter.
I am using 16 gauge and 20 gauge, round dead soft wire for the body and embellishment and 20 gauge half round wire for banding.
NOTE- while it is dead soft wire, 16 gauge will take a finger muscle to move. I have not annealed the wire (used fire to soften it), but you can if you'd like. This is a no solder, no fire project.
Have fun! Please remember to subscribe to my channel and please share my video link or mention my channel name if you make and show the projects. It helps me grow and be able to continue making free videos for us! Many smiles, many thanks.

@@PerfectlyTwistedJewelry, awww you're so sweet, thank you! I do apologize for being pretty MIA in our groups... things haven't been the best at our house, and I've been having to care for a newly diagnosed diabetic cat, as well as trying to save the eye of another of our cats (a 3rd needs consistent blood pressure checks, a 4th was recently diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease, and a 5th, who will be 20 in July, has various "old lady" ailments and requires subq fluids every other day ~ all of this is happening at home with our own veterinary equipment and supplies, so it's pretty chaotic these days... only 1 of our 6 cats can be considered healthy-healthy, and it's just crazy that ALL of this has hit us over the past month (quarantine actually could not have come at a better time for me ~ I NEED to be home with these babies). Even our Chihuahua has polyarthritis in both her teeny wrists, and she's on steroids for that).
OK, I think you're all caught up with me now. 😘 Sorry for the novel!!
