I just got one of these systems and apart from the comically large caps, it’s one of the best things i ever bought, even makes my car look more like a spaceship inside (that’s what i’m goin for)

I loved having my tyre pressures visible on my Porsch 911’s as using the right pressure not only saves lives but makes for better fuel mileage. Thank you for making me aware of this as the BMW only tells me when there is pressure loss. Thanks again

Since they are heavy it might also throw off the tire balance so you may have to get the tires rebalanced. With every option there are pro's and con's.

  • @mpcp27

I would suggest you consider replacing your rubber valve stems for the metal ones. People have reported the extra weight from the sensors on the end of the rubber valve stems have led to their failure, i.e., crack or break off entirely, which you don't want happening while driving.

Disappointed that you never explained why you considered this "the best" TPMS compared to other similar products on the market. When you claim something is the best, it implies that it is better than the competitors. So why is it the best?

DB, I have a similar situation to what you had where one wheel/tire leaks down over time and the others are relatively stable. In order to add air to any one of the four wheels, do I have to remove the sensor completely to do so?

What did YOU have to do in order to add air to a tire while these were in use?

I just screwed them on and off as I needed them. I never used any locking anything on them. Also, I only had them for a few months a few years ago before I just got rid of the car they were on, so I have almost no recollection of how they went on. I put them on. They reported to the sensor.
