FINALLY! Something that utterly clarifies & details all of the inherent mysteries of the External BT TPMS units! It took me far too long to find your video & learn how these sets work. Thank you for sharing!
It wasn't cooperating with me when I got it in from shipment so i did a hard reset from the manual but it only made it worse. It's only picking up the front left and rear right. Hopefully your video saved would save me from running it over. Thanks bro .awesome on point tutorial!

too good... really trouble shooter... as I could not get the reading... I paired as per your advise and it suddenly it started showing off the reading.. so thank u so much for saving my money as I was about to throw it out of the window...
Tried your tutorial but still same problem tpms is not pairing with the sensor. Also tried to check the batteries with voltmeter no problem all all are reading 3 volts. What seems to be the problem. Thanks
Thank you so much for doing this video! I went and checked all my batteries and labels. They were correct. 🙂. The readings for me were off by like 1psi not too bad.
I was trying to figure out pairing when I came to this video, it didn't work but then I went to my manual and it said drive to 20km/h and they will all auto pair, indeed they did. Good video explaining rest of the features
If only I had seen this last year before mine got so lost in the programming that I chucked it in the garbage and got a different model. Book instructions were impossible to follow. Ugh.
As far as I know, you cannot calibrate these sensors and they're not really very accurate. They work best just to sort of tell you "roughly" what the pressure is. I mainly use mine so that I know if I have a sudden puncture while driving and for actual pressure measurement I use a pen-type pressure meter each time I pump up the tires.
Thank You .... awesome turorial mate... good job with the crystal clear explanation. been suffering from acute headache for the past 2 hours upon opening the box and now the headache is now gone instantly. keep up the good work. cant thank you enough.. u save me from another white hair 👍👍👍
Sadly there is no way to properly calibrate this toys. I went to the gas station, filled all with same pressure and then all the sensors are giving me different readings.
Yeah, the accuracy on these just isn't there. It's mostly useful to warn you of a puncture. Before I got this, I shredded a brand new tire going down the highway without realising that one of my rear tires developed a puncture en-route. I needed something that could beep at me if there was a puncture.
I have the 2wd version for elecric scooter, working ok but shows wrong pressure. When tires are inflated to 4bar it showing max 3.1 for front and 3.5 bar for rear tire. Is this possible to recalibrate? Maybe sensors are broken :/
2 of my sensor showing same identical identifier? What is wrong here. Im talking about the option 6 in the menu . Tire 1 and 3 has the same identical identifier.
Wow that's weird - it could be that they packed an incompatible set into the box at the factory. Try returning it and getting a replacement if you can.
Love the video, as we have installed this on my caravan the signal is too far from the dash to the sensors do you know if I can get some sort of signal booster.. thanks again for the great video
Aha mate, these cheap ones don't come with a booster or a repeater. You might want to consider getting one from TyrePal (www.tyrepal.co.uk), it's more expensive but they make ones that are specific for for caravans.
Hi I wonder if you could help me I brought the tire sensor When the sensor connects to the wheel the tyre pressure does not go up to 80 psi it only shows on my monitor 50 does this equipment does not go to ATPS I look forward to your comments
Oh that's a good question, I actually have no idea. Are you using it on a motorhome? I think these cheap sensors are made for cars and may not be able to handle the pressure of heavier vehicles. You may need to look for TPMS sensors made specifically for heavy vehicles.
What to do if one readout malfunctions? My unit is only two months old, all was fine but now but the RF unit is not communicating. The readout shows 0.0. I have tried to reset to factory settings, removed and reinstalled the sensor unit, removed and tested the battery (it shows 3,2 V) but nothing works. Seems like it's not the sender, I changed the senders from LF to RF and vice versa, but the RF readout remains on 0.0.
@@roadrangermy4354 I seem to be missing something, after factory reset and restart everything, now none of my sensors are being picked up by the reader. Everything seems OK, all lights come on, battery is fully charged but the readouts all remain on 0.0.
I don't think you can with this unit - it's either always on, or you have to turn it off and on. I used to manually switch mine off when I park and on again when I drive because the battery drains fast when it's on solar alone.
Thanks this is a good video. However I had already installed the adaptors onto the tyre stems. Now they seem to be stuck... Also I can only pair two of the tyres I kind of wish I hadn't bothered if it was going to be this much trouble.
My sensor (FRONT LEFT) always disconnect after 1-2 hours... After that, i must to be replace other battery to connect again, but it will be disconnect again after 1-2 hours.... What wrong with this man? Note : All off battery is new...
Thanks for the video. In my case I have the small cigarette lighter reader plus 4 sensors. One of them needed to be replaced and I had a spare but only showing flashing 00
But when I go to menu 6, my device behave little differently. When I press menu it starts blinking the code below with respect to the tire number...and it doesn't stop blinking...I can switch to next tire by right key...it can go to rest of tires...the code.below each tire keep blinking...it doesn't stop...or pair the way you have shown on screen...
THANK YOU DUDE...Your tutorial save my live, it works like a charm, after trow 3 of this ones on the trash, for dont know how to solve this problems! Thank you, thank you alot!!!
I have the same sensor but on a motor cycle so only 2 sensors and a small main display....the front sensor will not connect with the main unit.....the battery reads 3v on my battery tester.....any ideas guys.
My sensor is stuck at one reading, it charges and discharges fine but never resets properly, I tried resetting but it just doesn't change the set tire pressures at all, what to do?
Well done sir. But in my case i did everything right but after I put Battery into sensors and cover its cap then trying to fit in the valve but nothing happens at all. No pairing . What should I do?
Yeah same here. I lost my FL sensor so I bought a replacement online but when I tried the steps, it did not work. Checked the insides of the sensor but there is no number "0" indicated like shown in the video. I think the reader unit is not communicating with the new replacement sensor. 🥴🥴
What do you think is the matter when the RR pressure on the reader just isn't showing anymore? This is just after about 2 weeks of normal display. What should I do?
this was a great explanation on how to use this. I am wondering if you can answer a question.. my unit instuctions says "pressure copes 14-87 PSI". I am wanting to use this for a small tent trailer single axle. (I don't find the range anywhere, however hoping this is possible..) I am about to purchase new tires but I have read that often max PSI for trailer tires is 85PSI (and I have seen at least one that was 90PSI). Does that mean that this unit will not go higher than 87PSI? Therefore it won't work for higher pressure rated tires? Also, when I try to program the low end of the PSI, the highest PSI I can put in is 35PSI which would seem not to help at all with the higher pressure tires. I don't know much at all about tires, but any help you could offer would be appreciated. Thank you for the excellent tutorial!
Hi I never explain myself right can you tell me what is the maximum bar or psi does his equipment go because on my motor own it will not take it up to 80 psi thank you for your time
Thanks bro you really save my life i was totally exhausted trying to pair the 4 sensors .. it was giving me low battery symbol but after pairing by your way it finally worked .. thank you very much 🥰
Thanks for the video Bro! Mine only couple months old but since day 1 the FR always shows 6 psi more than the rest i took them off today and factory reset it, not the sensor ID are all showing 00.00 and wont pair. Any idea? Pretty sure it's not the battery as it's fairly new.
Hi, first off, thank you for making this instructional video. One of my sensors unfortunately suffered from water corrosion and I subsequently purchased a replacement unit. However , after following the steps you showed to pair the sensor it was to no avail. Suspecting that perhaps the battery was faulty I even switch to one of the existing batteries which are in working order but still was not able to pair it. Is there anything else that I can do ? Instead of scanning for it can we manually set the number ?
Hello, thanks for the great video. Is there a way to set the low pressure alarm below 17 psi. I wanted to use this on a vehicle with tire pressures around 12-15 psi so the alarm constantly goes off.
Hello, the measurements of these devices are generally different. Even if all conditions are equal and tire pressures are the same, it shows different pressure values on the screen. Is there a calibration or +/- correction factor for this?
