I lived and worked the first half of my life in Minnesota and I just don't remember that much rust on everything. I moved to California and got spoiled. Almost every thing is rust free and a joy to work on. I feel for you.
My old wagoneer the fuel always drains back. Got smart and moved clear fuel filter sideways. It holds just enough gas to get it running and fuel to the carb.
You are getting to the point of turning items into cash which is your goal . You always have a solid plan as l like to see. Thanks for taking us along! Tom
Great video J.C.Smith really enjoy the build on this truck. Nice work onthe interior cleaning Mrs J.C.Smith. Looking forward to your next video stay safe Mr & Mrs J.C.Smith.
I agree with another commenter that I would build as many trucks as you can first before you go to second stage. I like where you’re going with this build and the next ones.
Medium duty trucks are cheaper the high mileage used pickups. I have been looking for something in a crew cab. Flatbed with tool boxes but space for goose neck. I do like some of the mechanics boxes too. Living in the rust belt gives one a real hatred of rust.
I think it would be a good idea to get as many done as you can before the up coming election. I have a feeling that there is going to be a much better market for them shortly after the election.
Flexibility is the mark of a good business. A LOT of people don't know what flexibility is and they're unwilling to be flexible in the first place. That's how businesses go broke.
No bolt on ones would not be enough for a truck that size trailers would be to big for a 2 in hitch and drilling the frame frange makes them really weak and it would crack
Nice work as always. Any real reason other than that’s how it’s always been why the fuel fill is always forward? I have several never used very heavy military D tanks planning to mount 2 on my 4900 crew passenger side but the fill will be to the rear of tanks. (One primary tank and one plumbed as transfer tank for equipment) thank you
Under powerd pos im a ford man but honestly it needs a 8.3 or something bigger. We had one with a 7 speed it was okay till you hit a hill. Im in eastern ky. Never made it to 7 offen
dont know what yours was rated at or set to. i have owned well over 50 of these. still own 9. all run great. pull good. reliable. only people i have run into that complained about power were the ones trying to do over work the truck in order to under work the wallet.
Hi JC Smith I need a f650 Cummings diesel preferably. Automatic transmission Allison at around 147 inch cab to axle for a tow truck roll back. 26000 GVRW
I like the for sale till the next stage then add value. Did you get the sandblaster you were talking about? I’m picking up a used one for $100 on marketplace when I get home Sunday. Not very happy with people I talked to about doing the work
Great fix on the battery box. Do you have a project for this fall, or are you looking for one? I need a frame stretch and deck build on my Peterbilt. See my video posted today.
The government keeps telling us the economy is great but everyone I talk to says people are out of money and now you too. I think the government is way off.
if the government said the economy was failing, it would be a failure on the administration. they would never admit to ruining this country and the economy.
@@j.c.smithprojects What everyday people say and their experiences are the best evidence for sure. Thanks for the videos. Took a while for me wife to agree that my wife my farmers piles are not junk and you prove that every day. - cheers.
J.C. Has anyone been complaining about being unsubscribed?. It seems this has been the 2nd time it has happened to me. You you don’t realize untill weeks go by before you notice…

I like your plan, it’s also a great way to use up parts laying around to turn into cash flow.

Good god the amount of rust that came off that battery box when you undid the bolts was BAAAAAAD!!!!
I like the back ground music during your time lapse
Amazing how much work you are getting done now that the tanker truck is out of your life 😂
Shorty truck, have a great evening JC and Mrs Smith, interior looks great.

So good to see a bit of humour.
It definitely means you’re doing the correct thing.
I think we need a tour of the current inventory

Nice Job. If I needed a truck, I would purchase that one.

Hi J.C & Smith & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks & J.C. Smith & Friends Randy
Have you tried Magic Eraser on vinyl seats and dashboard? They work great, I have used them on really dirty leather.
Great video.
Having odd items around saves welding and just a lick of Paint, but it's having the space to store it.
Could you do a bolt on hitch plate so that you can make the frame any length needed yet still be able to do the paint and finish work for resale ?
i would not want one that is bolted on. i would prefer welded.

U guys should do a short detail fast forward clip in one of ur video

if its forward, you can still open the door. if its in the rear, it can get in the way.
Aww makes sense not a great deal for my little usage but I understand it could be for some. Thanks

It's not a scrap pile---it's an archive.
