My wife just went to the local mechanic paid $70 to plug the computer in to tell her it’s p2111 code He said he couldn’t fix it as they are busy this week and said call audi… My wife calls Audi tells them what I just wrote above and they tell her to bring car in next Monday for diagnosis with computer for $307 AUD. We know the problem we just want it fixed. Not to be diagnosed again for more than four times the price of the first guy. Wtf? I just went on eBay and purchased this little bracket you show for $11 and I pray that it fixes the issue…I will give you an update when in a couple of days once the part arrives and I watch your video again to install it.. Talk soon.

I've just recently had this code appear on my 2009 VW Passat 2.0l TDI Highline Estate, following your advice I bought the bracket which cost £4.74 off eBay I fitted it & the engine management light has went off,the code reader now shows no faults stored & the car is driving like brand new again even though it has 188k on it..many many thanks for showing & explaining clearly how to do this.
Hi Do you have any link with the braket?I have 2010 passat and I already install a bracket but code comes back,I have the plastic manifold also the garage remove all the manifold to get acces to the actuator
hello. I put this part, turned off the error through diagnostics, and the error appeared again on the engine. What is the problem? Does anyone know? Thanks
Thanks for helping us. I have little question if possible. I was getting p2015 and installed bracket. It is 2.0 TDI CR with plastic intake manifold. Mechanic needed to take away manifold to install bracket, he disconnected fuel lines from high pressure fuel pump because they were covering intake manifold. Anyway, long story short, no more p2015 but after this engine started to work louder, after few days i noticed he did not tightened fuel line bolt from high pressure fuel pump to rail and the fuel was leaking under high pressure fuel pump, including revving up on idle to compensate for the pressure i guess. I visited mechanic once again and he fixed this by tightening the screw but engine still works louder along the vibrations on idle, no revving on idle anymore. Is it possible that 'ecu/computer' needs to learn new settings while driving, or there is 'air' in fuel lines? is it possible that he damaged hpfp because he did not tightened fuel line from hpfp to rail? or something else? thanks a lot to anyone having time to help me out
Is there any update with this ? I'm looking to fix the end stop to my car but it also has the plastic intake manifold so it looks like a bit of a mission to do. Is your engine running okay now ? Thanks

Thank you for your feedback and glad it helped. I've had my Audi for years with the clip installed and I haven't had any issues.

What engine is it in your video? I have this problem on a 2015 golf TDI CR150. I don’t think the actuator is located at the same place

@@XxToxicVenom5xX 10 months and still runs fine.. just be careful about fuel lines and hpfp in case you need to remove it to take intake manif out...

Looking at Google it appears the tfsi has an intake manifold with the same error so it should be the same solution
