I got the slim 7i pro x a few months ago and the hinge the last week has been AWFUL. If I even move the laptop a little the screen falls back. It’s so weak
I have the 16” Slim 7 with basically the same specs as this one and have been very happy with the performance of it so far. Can even game on warzone 2 with 70-80 fps at 1080p
Finally, 3 months after unboxing! 😂 Also BTW, my Intel 12700H model has an HDMI. But that does not matter to me since it also has 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports 😄 Got mine on a big Black Friday sale for $1,210. Best creator laptop under $1,500 IMO!

Do you think this machine is worth it with the Ryzen 9 with 32 gigs now? My legion pro 5i got returned after 8 days of use. Geek squad couldn’t fix it. I had the pro5i with the 4070. I use it for light gaming and photoshop. The ryzen 9 Lenovo 7x 14.5 retina is 910 bucks right now. Worth it?
I've seen videos on this laptop where the battery would still drain even if the laptop is charged. I dont know if its included in this video but apparently when using really heavy applications, games in most cases, the battery would still drain. does this also happen with your laptop?
It is because the power consumed by the cpu dan gpu (3050) is more than the charger output which is only 100 watt when you use It for gaming Or heavy apps. I've limit the cpu and undervolt the gpu. Or you van set to intelligence cooling mode instead of the performance mode.

@@adrianalcomendras6754 as i was seen on other video, it said that required to have a bigger output for the charger, it must be greater than 100w, as the cpu in performance mode will consumed 50+ watt and the gpu might 50-60watt or more. The work around is keeping the total power consumption below 100w. I was managed to set the cpu for 30-40 watt, and let the gpu consumed 50+ watt when playing game.

its being sold 1349$ in my country but with the 3050, do u think it’s enough for some light to medium gaming? That kinda my only concern of this since 3050 is quite low.
I'd be cautious about gaming, but definitely has the performance for creators. It handles 4k VERY well and some solid 6k editing results. Especially if you can snag it with 32GB of RAM.

Laptop is really solid for its price. However, quality control can be a little iffy, and the battery can drain pretty quickly if you dont have battery saver on. I get about 5-6 hours on 80% brightness doing light tasks

Also mine is a touch screen. Strange that the AMD spec is not. Really wish it was 2 in 1 though.
