I'm old enough to have done many Drum Brakes. These are just enough Different that I'm glad I watched the video. 240k miles so they are do for their first change. Thanks
@Arash Khajehgani don't even worry about stupid empty headed comments. Let me be the first one to say "thank you" for taking the time to make the video. It is not an easy task to be holding a camera while you do repair stuff. So, don't be mindful of hating comments. I was able to follow along just fine. To do this require some patience. Cheers, and keep doing It how ever you want. It's your channel and your videos. :) For the 2 negative comments they can go and sit on the their thumbs and spin around.
He never completed showing how to put the spring back on. It’s the hardest part. Instead of using the hammer you can use a vise grip instead to keep the shoe from moving. Easier way to put the spring back on is using a long tip screw driver hook it on the spring and slide it on the hole.
8mm screw to get Drum off. Vise grip on dust shield to keep Shoe from moving and I needed an old school Brake pliers and Needle nose vise grips to get the upper spring on. I've been doing drum brakes since the '70s. That top Spring is a bear
@@theresahoffman8408 it god damn is I've been struggling to put that mf back in for 30 minutes and I just can't, it's a new spring too so idk if it's stronger or what but it's just impossible, I'll try to look for a thin long screwdriver
Why the view blocking add???, and how to back off the shoes from the drum to allow removal ??? Maybe you could have shown the adjuster location..maybe its blocked by that add band across the screen..WTF

Thank you so much youve made it easy for me to do it ❤
Very helpful thank you very much first time doing drum brakes was a breeze thank to you
Thanks for video. Helped a ton.
BTW, I used clamps to hold it in place.
Instead of the hammer use a 10mm socket to fill the space

BS my drum does not just slip off. How do you reach the star wheel to loosen the shoes so it will come off? that is what people need to know.
Guy starts out on passenger side then around 58 seconds in he abruptly switches to driver side ... Didn't say a word
Don't break your brakes!
Filmora 9 blocks the visuals. Useless to watch.
Its transparent, it doesn't block anything. Dont be a douche.
I can’t even see with that tag
Sorry mate i used a demo version when i created the video
Your comment is closely related to your name. You def campurate it well.
The filmora 9 strip across the screen was annoying and distracting. I did not watch very much of your video because of it.
