On the subject of the length of the songs, as I've been pointing out lately, their BPM and number of notes played in the span of the songs, their 3 minute songs contain 4 to 7 minutes of another band's worth of material. But you get it in a short enough punch that you can listen to another one before you have to get back to work... did I say that out loud? 😄
Nice one, as always. I’m not sure if it’s an absolute necessity to see them live to be able to call yourself a Maidiac, but it’s probably worth looking at some of their non musical stuff to get a better understanding of them as people, and just how much fun they are. Musically it’s definitely worth looking at the Band Maiko MVs (I had a look back and I don’t think you’ve done that), and also their acoustic online set they did during lockdown. Sayonakidori from that is interesting because it’s Miku doing the singing with Misa and Akane.
Okay i've added Secret MAIKO lips to my list to do next for them. Is there a good "non-music" video I could probably watch before I watch the video? Like do them together, if that makes sense.

Certainly there’s plenty of them wandering around places in their maid clothes, I remember some TV stuff where they really just mess around taking the piss out of each other (and anyone else in the vicinity!), the concerts in the States where Miku does her chatting with the crowd sections. It’s like The Warning, they really embrace the social media aspect. I assume someone has explained their individual character points?
Yes, Shambles is the Akane show with special guest stars Kanami, MISA, Saiki and Miku. But wait! Was it really the Kanami show, because she wrote the song and played it with such forcefulness and exquisite abandon. Or was it the MISA show because without MISA, the rapturous drive of the song would be a ride on four flat tires. Or was it the Saiki show because she focused the sonic chaos into a song with melodies that could express Miku's lyrics like no other singer could. Without Saiki, Shambles might sound like a familiar instrumental. Or was it the Miku show because, damn, she wrote the lyrics, played the important rhythm parts, and added her unique brand of backup vocals that have become a defining "sixth instrument" of Band-Maid. So exactly whose show was it? It was the Maid's show, as usual! 🤘🎀🤘 Thx, Johnny!
@@JohnnyFoxtrotshow The songs already released earlier in the year are just Band-Maid awesomesauce! The six new songs are so tightly integrated and complex, it's going to take a Tokyo minute to assimilate. But I know I will end up loving them just like all the other 130 songs! 😉🤘

What we doing for video boss ? Grab the maids, their gear , find an abandoned location, n bring the Pyro guys , that even safe boss? Prolly not but we do it all the time po!
Honestly....would have enjoyed more talk about the song....this is an absolute Banger !!!!! with incredible drums and bass performances and the baddest ass guitar riff ever !!!!! Lots of stuff to talk about !!!

My only suggestion is that this band is not your typical rock band. Their writing and musicianship is very sophisticated and they have made me a better listener. Im a drummer and so I have pretty acute listening skills and thats what I think most people miss the boat with these girls Listen intensely !!!! Good Luck !!!
I just saw something new about the management thing although as usual it needs a bit of clarification. It seems like Maidit is something that has been in existence for a number of years within the management company that they were with, which I think was Platinum Production (definitely Platinum something). That company was part of a larger group, but it was being wound down and BM was the last client they had before closing completely. So it may not have been the scenario of BM leaving or sacking their management. It seems it’s possible that someone from PP may be involved with Maidit. Like I say it needs some clarification, but it sounds plausible.
